hey guys..it looks like new york is going to start looking to trade soon...especially steph...would you guys trade and who would you trade for? i personally think we don't have room for anyone on the knicks as is...but i wanna hear your thoughts

I'd trade for Steph, I'd even give them a... bag of fries.
No, really, there's no one in the Knicks I'd like to have in this team. Well, maybe Ariza, if they don't ask for too much... |

Yeah, the only players I would want from the Knicks are the only two that they want to keep: Ariza and Curry. Everyone else is no help towards winning a championship.

nate robinson for miles?

Ugh, distusging! The Knicks players would only hinder our team! I wouldn't even pick up Stephon if given the opportunity to do so for draft picks! Bad trade ideas!

I know this was a joke, but I wouldn't want Francis close to my team. I'd rather have Rick Brunson... |

Nate Robinson for Fisher!!!!!! I know some of you will luv this trade and why wouldn't you - Nate is an up and coming rookie who looks so promising and the Fish is still decent but overpaid and getting older. He is good for the positive influence though.
Nate Robinson would be like an Earl Boykins off the bench! He would only get better as well. He and Ellis can fight it out for back up honours. Both would get better quicker as well. Then one could be traded along with another good player in a couple of years if need be ![]() ![]() migya make the ring fall on ya |

I don't know about Nate, I haven't seen him play enough, just the games against the Warriors and some highlights. I don't know if he can be an effective pg. As a change of pace, yeah, but who says Ellis won't be able to do so...

I just think that Nate is the only Knick worth considering. I was just giving an answer to the thread

I disagree... I don't think ANY Knick is worth a trade.

Nate Robinson just seems to have such potential that getting him would be such an investment. the Knicks seem to have a number of guards ahead of him so he won't have much of a chance there

I don't think they'd be willing to trade Nate right now. The way I see it, the untradable players (if it's not a deal too good to pass up) in the Knicks roster are Nate, Lee, Curry, Ariza and Frye.

I'd agree with that list. The Knicks may seem like it, but they aren't stupid. They know they need to dump some contracts because (aside from Marbury), they're paying for a team of all-stars and getting nothing in return for players like Jamal Crawford, Quentin Richardson, and Penny Hardaway. They'd be willing to negotiate about any of THOSE players, but their young ones are probably not for sale.
