You know what's funny... Farve is on the cover of Madden 09. I don't think it's a good idea to comeback or else the curse may live on. Not that the curse doesn't seem like it already is taking in effect.
Of course, here's my superstitious beliefs taking over me again. Don't hate yourself in the morning... sleep 'til noon.

The curse already is living on. No matter what happens from here it is going to be far from a graceful exit. If you put a retired player on your cover you're just going to curse his retirement.
Serves them right though for ruining the video game industry. |

Well, Eddie George somehow didn't get cursed. He was the only one that graced the cover of Madden and not be a victim.

haha i know why. because that game was what Madden 2001 right. That was the only year, since 2000 i didnt buy the game. Each year after that one, i had bought the game. Whats worse, is that i decided to not buy the game, but my brother pre-ordered it for the 360 a couple weeks ago, ala when the who farve thing began. I apologize! Lets just hope Tom Brady makes the cover next year, and i'll buy it. Maybe if i buy it twice, he will be out for his career. |

Nah... it's the same drama that happens every year with him. It's just that Green Bay finally got fed up. |

Then I guess it is safe to say that he isn't heading to the East Bay. 2007 - GoldenStWarriors.com "Rookie of the Year"

I dont see what the hype for Russell is. Sure, he is talented. He may be pretty good someday. You put him on this current Raiders team, though, and you are just waiting for trouble. A team that has BOTH Kwame Harris and Robert Gallery, the two worst offensive linemen in football, guarding him will not do well. I can nearly assure you that he will get sacked at least three times a game next year. Getting thrown out there with a bad offensive as a young QB, which is what the Raiders are going to do, will do nothing to his confidence or development, either. See David Carr. Things are bad in Raiderland. Not a whole lot better in Ninerland, but at least we can throw out a halfway decent offensive line and decent receivers for our QB's, something that the senile Al Davis doesnt seem to understand is important. 2007 - GoldenStWarriors.com "Rookie of the Year"

That's right. Russell is PURELY hype. Hype surrounds him. So until he proves us wrong, he's hype. And no one will care other than Raider fans for now.
It's not like I can say much either. Vernon Davis is PURELY hype as well. They rave all about his speed and athleticism but because he's so bad at route running and blocking, he hasn't proven anything. Don't hate yourself in the morning... sleep 'til noon.
