I'm going with the Mully option. I know this board is full of people who praise Baron, but (really) losing the genius who grabbed Baron Davis would hurt so much worse. Mullin was turning this franchise around long before BD got here.

I can agree with that but losing bdavis would be pretty bad.

Mullin started this rebuilding process. He is more valuable to the franchise than any player we put there. Baron will definitely slowdown due to age but mullin will only grow wiser with age and experience in the front office.
I saw mullin over baron. |

I say Baron, Mullin doesn't play anymore.

Good point TMC.
Baron is valuable but until he plays injury free for a season I won't be completely screaming with joy about him. Mullin has done great with the Warriors in the moves he has made and that makes him so valuable. The dunleavy signing though.......... I pick Mullin as more important ![]() ![]() migya make the ring fall on ya |

Yeah, right, but we'll know what happened when the team sided with Nelson against Webber... And the option was losing Baron for a bust, not for other star. That'd prolly have Mullin fired... |

You're probably right but as of right now, Mullin has done an amazing job of putting the pieces together for this team. That has to be seen as the most important thing so far.

Nelly didn't bring the team back from the 7th circle of hell like Chris Mullin did. Baron's been here for less than one year. Lets not suddenly pledge our alliegence to him instead of Mully. Chris is putting our team back together and Baron's a puzzle piece. Without the right person behind the scenes, we may have never gotten players like Baron.
Say what you want about how much he pays people, the man's brought us back to a respectable level. His loss would be far worse than any player on the team (including Davis). ![]() GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS DIE HARD ![]() ![]() |

I do not want to see Mullin fired, nor I'm denying the good things he's doing for the team. The two options you gave were seeing him fired and trading Baron for a bust. As Mullin is the VP, that trade would mean that Mullin should be fired. Period. It's the same that happened in Toronto with Carter.

Really is a question that shouldn't even be thought of - Too negative for all us Warriors' fans
