turiaf is a stiff because he does nothing out there. he is not a quality player but rather a body to fill up the roster. Also he will not get away with the same over physical play he received while playing for the lakers.

wow. I am not sure you have ever seen him play.

WHile he is an average rebounder, he is certainly not a stiff. He is an excellent help defender, excellent shot blocker (one of the best in the league per 48 min), and has a pretty decent mid range game.

He instantly becomes our best interior defender and it is not even close. How is that a waste of a roster spot?

He is not a bad offensive player. They just dont ask him to score. He is certainly not Chris Bosh or anything but he did finish as one of Gonzaga's all time leading scorers so he can score.
