 Starting Lineup

With the signing of brand, does this make them contenders. We all seen them take the pistons to 6 games and with the signing of brand I think they can be serious contenders.

close...i dont know about serious...but close. with andre miller, iggy, brand, and dalembert they are pretty frikkin good. its just a matter of what they get in that SG spot.

Iggy would probably play SG and then Willie Green/Carney would play the 3. |

carney is going to minny. probs willie green. but even then, after their starting lineup theyll need at least a decent bench to become serious contenders. right now they are eastern conference contenders, but still wont beat the celtics in a series. i truly think the sixers will grab either the 6-8 seed for sure... everyone knows how the east it... and i see the sixers improving with brand alone... brand iggy miller is a good enough trio to contend in the east.

If they do get Brand, sixers are real contenders and just need a little more from their bench to be real threats

yeah i think the 76ers would be a 6-8 seed in the west.... but obviously their east, so they could very easily be as high as a 3rd seed (maybe higher if they can stay healthy and detroit or boston get major injuries)
but the east is getting better, and thank goodness because we need more balance |
