Look for Childress to have a poor night as Monty knows how a key player to the Hawks offense is shut down.
Mike Dunleavy to go buck wild and shoot very well as no one can gaurd him.
If you want my opinion. David Stern penciled in this game because he knows that the Warriors vs Hawks isn't really a great ticket seller. But with The Dubs being the hottest team of season past. Then it's an automatic Sellout!!!

This could actually be a very good matchup as the Hawks have some young talented players but they are the sort of team that will play 3 quarters and then fade away

Warriors will roll on them Guaranteed. But I am exited to see what josh smith looks like in his sophomore year. If he works hard he can easily be one of the top ten players in the league at SF or even as a PF.
Teams rarely lose their home opener, cause everybody will be pumped. And I don’t know s a young team like Atl has the make up yet, to over come it.  |

I'd love to say this is gonna be easy, but that young talent on Atlanta is impressive and TOTALLY league-ready.... It will be a battle to the end as the Hawks give the Warriors the fight of the season!...

The Hawks will have their moments but they just won't be able to finish games I reckon. They will have some highlight fastbreaks though!

This game will not be close. They have a point guard the was a bench player to Fisher in Lue. Johnson will not be as good on this team because nobody will double team ZaZa pachulia oil like they did to Amare. All they have is Josh Smith and he is to young and raw. Warriors by 12-18. not even close

Childress, Smith, Williams and Harrington should be enough talent to make the Hawks competitive. Joe Johnson should still be a major player in the nba

Every team will be competitive. Childress and Williams are backups they will give are second string some competition but if Pietrus is all you say he is Childress should get put to shame. According to you Biendrins is the second coming of KG so Williams should be no problem either. Warriors win by 12-18 points no problem.

Firstly, Childress has been listed as the Hawks' starting SG.
Secondly, I didn't say Biedrins was the second coming of KG but that Dwight Howard was potentially like him. Biedrins has great potential and his reboubding and defense are great. Pietrus will slow down anyone on the Hawks, so yeah, the Warriors should win. Maybe you should start giving the Warriors young players more credit or were you just being sarcastic............ migya make the ring fall on ya |

Oh, Childress is starting at SG, I guess Joe Johnson is coming of the bench.
I like the young players on the Warriors, I did give them credit you should reread my post. I am the one saying they will win by a landslide with the contributions of the Warriors young bench players. |

Atlanta doesn't have a bad team, they still need a center, a pg, a backup center, a backup pg, need to move Josh Smith to the 4, ...
