thinking back to dick i mean dirk the mvp has to get his team to advance
or how valuable is he really. so i say kobe ( who i cant stand fn cheese ball) or labron and possible paul

I would have to say that LeBron, by definition, is the Most Valuble Player in the league. Although if New Orleans could finish out the season the way they started, I think CP3 could get some recognition, he shouldn't win it though.

I'd go with LeBron. But Kobe is not too far behind him on my list. Dwight is third.

Yeah, I agree that LeBron means more to the Cavs than any other one player to their respective team, but Kobe is a close second in that regard. Kobe is, and has been, doing some incredible things. At this point, I think Lebron has been the MVP thus far, but I think Kobe will pull off a few more 40+ games and earn it by the end of the regular season. I don't like the guy, and I hate the Lakers, but I think he is the best player since Jordan (early-mid MJ not late MJ). I knew at least one or two Baron votes were coming, but I think he still has a good shot. Remember how well he was playing earlier this season and what he is capable of - there are 24 more games left in the season and we have yet to see him at his best!

That sounds right... although I'd put CP on Dwight's level as 3rd option. Maybe a step above. |

Lebron all the way............as others said, take him out of the Cavs and they would fall like a stone...........still cant belive what this man does on the court, just all around greatness and with a "pass first" mentality in my mind...........closing thing we have to a Big-O stat filler.........man Id love to see him average a trip double all season once in his career.
Also, add Lebron to ANY other team and not only would he put up the same numbers but that team would leapfrog anyone. |

You can if you're a chick in Colorado. . . For every reason already mentioned though, it is LeBron. I have no problem if Kobe (or Chris Paul for that matter) gets it since there are a ton of valid arguments for him as well. I give the nod to LeBron since his supporting cast looks like the supporting cast of a certain 2004 MVP. |

2. Chris Paul 3. Kobe Lebron is playing at a truly sick level. 31-8-7 per game? Are you kidding me? The only reason Kobe will likely win the MVP this year is because the voters know that Lebron will win 5-6 in his career and this is probably Kobe's last shot at MVP.   |
