Who else has seen this freak of nature???

In case you haven't, allow me to break down the specs for you:

7'7" (7'9" in shoes). 360 pounds. Shoe size 28.

Zero skill. Can dunk WITHOUT JUMPING.

Yes, you read that right. Fear:

A freak, definitely.

Although there are others, like Sun Ming Ming, who is two inches taller and has 10 lbs on him.

Also, the Warriors drafted a 7'8'' japanese center called Yasutaka Okayama, that never played for us (back when the draft had a thousand rounds).

Why this kind of players never have any talent to go with the height?

It's crazy to think that he's even bigger than Yao. But obviously size isn't enough

I dunno if Sun Ming Ming is taller than Kenny George. George is 7'9" in shoes, which is what I'm sure they measured Ming Ming in.

It's also worth noting that I have yet to see Sun Ming Ming dunk without jumping, which is pretty much standard protocal for George.

Kenny George is much more likable than any of the other giants that have played before him (except maybe Manute Bol). First, when he got thrown on by Hansbrough, you could see his head slump down almost cartoonishly. Then in an interview he explained "he forgot to jump" when Hansbrough came down the lane.

My God. Can you imagine being able to get in position and not needing to jump to defend the rim? If someone taught this kid footwork and positioning he would he a beast in the paint.

He simply is the biggest looking guy Ive ever seen................maybe the same height and whatever as others but he looks BIGGER

He has a 8"5 foot wingspan!!! and size 25 feet!!!

I still cant believe what I saw.............that first clip against NC, when they had the shot of all the players and he came into the game from left/off screen.................it actually made me jump a little!!! I showed my girlfriend and she jumped and shouted out "What the f**k is THAT!!??"

bigstrads, that is FUNNY! I had the same exact reaction as your girlfriend. He does simply look bigger than anyone I have ever seen. Hansbrough who has some decent size looked like my 6 year old son.

That may be true. He's measured at 7'9'', but it may be in shoes.

As for dunking, I've seen him dunk without jumping, although it's not usual.

This vid explains why he's not in the NBA (and likely never will be).

Still, George looks a lot bigger, even tho they are the same height and Sun has 10 more lbs.

hahahahaha...damn that video was hilarious, TMC. but yeah...he probably wouldnt make it to the NBA despite his freakish height. he doesnt move. even gheorge muresan was able to move laterally and get out of the key.
