I think the 22 year old team is the best and the deepest, which is impressive given that they've got years of improving to do. If they had PG and Center backups the 29 year old team would be right up there. The frontcourt on the 27 year old team is awesome, but the backcourt sucks.
Who do you think the best team is?

I would say that the 29 year olds would be the best team, while the 22 year olds are by far the most talented. That is kind of an interesting thought, though.
22 and 25 will be the final....
with C.paul PG and Lebron SF, monster C howard...who can stop this 3 guys and Jefferson is not yesterday player, the only weakness on this team is SG...
25 team is just way amazing....i will put those guys in ALL STARS team.
they have amazing bck up C and PG...
well...maybe 25 will win by single digit..

Ehh...I see the 22 year old team as marginally ahead of the 25 year old team.
Position by position:
PG:
22 year old team, but not by a large margin, especially since Arenas will probably play a lot of backup minutes at PG
SG:
25 year old team has this one by a landslide
SF:
22 Year old team has this one by a landslide
PF:
22 Year old team wins this one, but not by much
C:
22 Year old team wins this one by a slim margin

Interesting topic, Pest. You're recovering your old touch to create new and amazing topics.
Pretty much that's right, although I don't like the all-25 team that much. Don't get me wrong, it's still among the best, but, the way I see it, the two best teams are the all-22 (play Lebron at SG and Smith at SF and that's a hell of a team) and the all-31.
The all-31, with KG and TD inside is pretty formidable and, although they lack a true SG (Bonzi Wells and Raja Bell are from that year, if I'm not wrong), it's a team pretty well covered in every position that presents a matchup problem inside for most teams.

The biggest difference to me is the bench of the 25 year olds. If you have Kaman, Chandler, Wilcox, Barbosa, Arenas, and Varejao coming off the bench, you have a stacked team. I agree with your analysis of the starters, but now factor in the bench. That is the breaking point, for me.

yeah, but most of the starters should be able to play a good 38 minutes per game without getting tired, and even with the bench factored in, it's only the shooting guard position that the 25 year olds will have an advantage in.
I like the 22 and 29 teams, but think Monta should be starting at shooting guard over ronnie brewer...
