Thanks bud.............be seeing you soon!
Indeed we are my man.............just not getting too ahead of ourselves yet, the key is renting this place out and our friend is coming round on Tuesday to finalise and agree stuff. So I suppose by this time next week..............I could probably be posting with some dates!!! Ps: Hows the sound proofing of OUR (as in mine and yours) bedroom coming bro? |
|
Eh... sound proof?. Where's the fun? |

So your mrs. is feeling better, after the death of her family member and all. Good to see you are continuing with your plans to go on holidays
![]() ![]() migya make the ring fall on ya |

Well I wouldnt go that far but she is handling it.............bearing in mind its the first close family member shes lost and the first person shes actually seen die (lucky her, as in Ive seen my share..........and probably your share) She has her moments, as expected, mainly stuff that reminds her of her Grandad, like music and things. But shes ok.............leaving work this Friday aswell. Man, the "specialist" travel agent was a pile of sh*te...............total waste of time because they were just a travel agent and didnt know anything about what we need to do. Basically, we are now refining where exactly we want to go (with scope to add places and things whilst we are there) and simply going to then book our first flight and then sort out the rest whilst we are there. In case your interested, heres the places we are definately going too = San Francisco Seattle Portland Vancouver Vegas Phoenix San Antonio New Orleans Springfield (Basketball Hall of Fame!!! Chicago Milwaukee Washington Philadelphia New York Boston Then off too: Las Palmas (We are going to visit TMC!!!..........seriously, we are) Barcelona Rome Milan Venice Sicilly Those are the definates..............and kind of the order aswell. Im sure the lady is going to want to add all kinds of places to it but we shall see how money goes. |

FVCK YOU YA LIAR>>> YOU PROMISED TO VISIT AUSTRALIA! |

Some notes...
Not sure how you'll handle the East Coast. Boston was mehhh for me. It's too historical. Washington is basically politics and the ghetto. Half of it is Capital Hill and all the political stuff with the really cool train station, while the other half is very poor. New York... I loved it. It's congested, crowded, loud, and most importantly... ALIVE. I just like the atmosphere there. New Orleans, I think you'll love Burbon Street. Full of great music such as jazz and pretty nice restaurants. You'd have to ask around to find the best food, though. Chicago, remember to wear warm clothing at all times! Tell me about Barcelona and Milan once you get back from there. I'm still waiting on when I finally go. I was suppose to go this past summer, but ended up not going. One day when I save up enough money, I will. Don't hate yourself in the morning... sleep 'til noon.

Great to finally see an schedule, Bigs!!!. Seems like you're almost ready to go.
As I said in other threads, I won't have much time this week. But we'll have to discuss your schedule. I mean, it's gonna be a lot easier to, for example, go to Barcelona first from the USA and come here after that stop. You'll save a lot of time and will be able to make the trip in just one single flight (to each destination) instead of three. We'll have to talk about it next week, once I have some more free time. |

Cheers for the notes man. Not sure how Ill handle the East coast huh? why not? weather?............dude, Im English! Boston, well, the main attraction for me IS the history, the architecture and all the rest. Washington, ohh yeah, definately only going there to literally say that I have once, and you know I love my polictics.............probably wont even stay more than a night there. New York............man, I went there when I was 18 and didnt like it at all............too dis-jointed and impersonal, just didnt feel like anything other than a collection of rude ass people and eye straining buildings. New Orleans, looking forward to the jazz, the southern feel but not perhaps typical southern of you get me..............food, people and we will be there when Mardi Gras is on (the lady wants that more than me..........Id be happy just chilling in a jazz bar). Although, I hear its pretty rough and pretty easy to get into a tight spot in quite a few areas. Looking forward to Chi town............always had a feel that I would like that place, just like Seattle aswell............and the weather, f*ck dude, Im a winter person, I prefer the cold!!! so Ill be cool. Barcelona is gonna be cool..............mainly because we are going there so we can meet TMC! There will be all manner of pictures (perhaps even of me and TMC in some un-compromising positions) if where we go and what we get up too. Its starting to come together now............booked our VISA appointment today............f*ck me the process is rigorous and totally insane. |

New Orleans is rough. You should take cabs always, never wander over into the 9th ward. Uptown is ok and down in the Quarter there are usually cops all around, but also a lot of loud belligerent drunks. Mardi Gras used to be fun, if you know what I mean. The thing to see is the New Orleans Jazz Heritage Festival in late April/early May. Chicago's ok. It's huge and spread out. The museums and architecture are great. Why would you want to go to Milwaukee? lol seriously, I went to university there... nothing there but some factories and a lot of bars. an hour and a half west of Milwaukee is Madison Wisconsin. sort of a left wing liberal island in the middle of a sea of right wing christian survivalism. great party town. lmao.... You should go to Hawaii and Mexico while you are out this way. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3pIsA0Q ... re=related

Well, the East Coast has some weird people, too. But then that sounds a bit biased cause I'm a West Coast boy and they think we're just as weird over here. I'll admit, in Boston, it's probably one of the most chill and relaxing places to walk. And I forgot what the name of the restaurant was called, but it's along a dock and in my opinion, has THE BEST New England Clam Chowder there... if you're fan of that of course. But can't wait to hear the stories and see the pictures man. Especially the one where you and TMC are kissing... er, I mean, hanging out. Don't hate yourself in the morning... sleep 'til noon.

Holy f*ck..............what a long day.
Went up to the US Embassy for our VISA interview today.............went through countless checks and re-checks, presented all out documents and filled out forms, waited 3 hours for our interview to come................went to a booth when our number was called, stood there for 3 minutes and said we have no intention of working in the US. And then it was granted!!! So yeah, thats it...........everything done, everything we needed to get has been got. Now, we will start booking some stuff! and VERY soon..............we will be over there. Man, Im beat. |
