For women, migya "bashed" cheerleaders, Rihanna, and just random chicks overall. For gay, not sure. Racist, migya used the N-word freely with no apology.

Those are just quick notes. If you want an explanation, well... that'd be tough. All of his negatives are spread out.

That announcement was clearly aimed at me and no one else.

NO ONE was beefing with overseas members besides me. NO ONE was saying they'd leave besides me. Anyways, thanks for singling me out. And thanks for totally responding to the situation like I predicted. I knew no one would get punished. I knew no one would get repremanded. The mods here are spineless and that post did nothing but confirm that. "Passive" is a glass half full way of saying "weak" in this situation. Regardless, this is a clear cut sign of how this place has gone completely into the ground. You wanna act like big, tough mods and anonymously clown on me because migya's judge-in-the-pocket is swaying the discussion (thats being kept secret for a reason). Go ahead. You know my college track coach was the master at handling team issues just like this. Instead of singling out specific people on the team, he would address the whole team to make his point.

It served not only as a warning to those actually involved by also made expectations clear to the entire team.

I personally think its a fair way to set forth clear guidelines.

My favorite take away from Coach Strametz's strategy was he would close the discusssion with :"...and if you feel like I am talking about you, then you are probably part of the problem."

This season is not a flop.

Maybe we could try something like that in the off-topic, instead of creating a new forum. Be more careful with what we allow on the Warriors forum (and others) and relax the grip a bit more on the off-topic. That could be an option.

I remember that, but I though it was for people to flame and what have you. As for the Off Topic forum, well, other people who might be sensitive to things or language use that forum, too. That would be like sticking a Hooters bar inside the Vatican. It won’t fly.

I’d like to suggest designating a place (could even be a thread) where some can feel more at ease and others who are sensitive can/have to stay away. That’s how a community works with different places and venues for various people to go to. It’s unfortunate that it has to be this way because this is just a Internet Sports Message Board (and a great one), not our church, or a political party site, or an activist affiliation site, etc. You’ll have some disagreements at times (no direct insults, of course), but so what? People are entitled to their opinions just like the ones being vocal.

And if something can be learned via a good, honest/lighthearted talk, the better.

Cmon migya, u still not admitting u were offensive on the rihanna thread is pathetic. And calling people insecure (og broe, 32, myself, others)cuz they don't feel like agreeing with your sexism statement? how is that insecure migya? i see it the other way around actually.

Now mig, i never have had problems with you, and besides that thread, you and me are pretty cool. Plus, i love smack talking you on fantasy basketball and reading wat u gotta say in this forum. But why dont you just apologize for your extreme statement and we can all move on.

I don't feel that I have to apologise for my statement in that thread, as I didn't single out anyone. The only one here that could have felt offended or uncomfortable is Capt Jack, because she is a woman, and to her I apologise for any misunderstanding.

I have explained my reasons and that is that. I'm not the one going on about it, you are right now. I had left this subject, as everybody else did, a while ago now, do the same

Wow, where do I start. I didn't know about the Rhianna thread. all i can say is Wow, I think that is really bad. I guess being a racial minority I can see wher some things really hurt. I guess if you not a minority of any group you might think these are too PC. But try walking in the shoes of a black, woman , gay, etc and see how ift feels to be dumped on or have people like you feel dumped on.

A year or so ago I took a lot of personal abuse by defending Mikael Pietrus from being called dumb. A lot of people (a few in particular) called me dumb or stupid because I didn't agree with them). Just recently our beloved Capt. Jack said Iwas acting like a douche. I would never say that she was acting like a condom because its just not right for civilized people to talk to one another that way.

Look, this place is not the local bar where everybody is the same. We should be somewhat PC correct to make evryone feel welcome. I guess it's hard to see unless you are one of the minority groups I mentioned. Too bad, because we are Warrior fans too. Words like ******, bitches, fags, etc. should never be tolerated. Even calling people dumb and stupid is offensive enough. Why can't we just disagree without saying the posters is dumb by saying that?

When I first strated here I thought is was a friendly site that wanted fan participation. I found it to be a boys club that only wanted people that fit a certain mode. I became very disapoointed and i don't post as regular as I use to. I am actually going to agree with 32 on one point: I think the moderators should be more forceful to ensure that everyone feel welcome here or else you are just going to have young, white, heterosexual males as part of this forum. People like me (black and proud) and other minorities are going to stay away. Maybe there is a reason why Capt. Jack is the only woman in the forum.
