It should be much easier than that. I just don't get why people get so riled up about something somebody they don't know (and probably won't ever meet) wrote from the other end of the world.
Life is to be enjoyed, not to get in constant quarrels about who's right and who isn't.

Well, the past is the past. While the wound is still there and always will be, we must move on. It's going to be a new week tomorrow, so a new start. Let's put it in the past and start fresh.
Let the thread fall... Don't hate yourself in the morning... sleep 'til noon.

This USA/Foreigner twist is bullsh*t
I don't care where you are from if you hit a chick or justify doing so you are a pussie no matter what country you are from.. I understand people want to talk freely & all but when the talk is racist or advocating/justifying violence on women supposedly as jokes I am Offended
If this type of sh*t is now acceptable here I too will bounce for good because you get enough of that ignorant ass talk on other sites comment sections.

This board is a place where passionate Warrior fans from all around the globe can exchange ideas and opinions about the state of the franchise and our favorite players.
Yes, we have an international contingent, and what we in the US may find politically incorrect, may be perfectly acceptable abroad. I can speak from experience that I had found something that Migya to be insensitive and offensive, called him on it, and he apologized and we all moved on. Sometimes things do get a bit heated on this board, and we all have differing opinions on how to improve the team; however, no one seems to dominate what can or can not be posted here...and that is good. 32 has taken me to task on a few Warrior topics in the past, and we have had some spirited debates. I thoroughly enjoyed the exchanges, eventhough, we never came to a concensus and shared opinion. OG Broe and I went at it a few times, too. Good times. I miss them. David, with his man-love addiction of everything Nelson, was always a guy who we could count on to watch (let's hope that is all that he does) Nelson's back. Guys, can we get back to Warrior basketball? It is the All Star break, and this team, while still not very good, can score some serious points. |

There have only been few members here that have been offended by some of the things I personally said. It has been the more insecure ones that have gotten offended, I have found. These few insecure members seem to have a hard time expressing themselves and seeing anything outside the usual boundaries of politically correct expression. When someone starts talking about a topic, looking at it from more than one angle, these few got uncomfortable and upset.
As I've said before, and I'm not the only one, this was always a place of peaceful discussion, without direct insults between people. What I'll do (and with the permission of the mods), for those new to this forum who didn't witness the arguments that went on, is that I'll bring back a few threads where the arguments exploded and people can see how a sensitive member attacked someone else for being more open on a topic. I hope those who see these past threads will understand the situation from a nonbiased, nonjudgemental way and seeing that there was no direct insulting of any member and no calling out of someone in the original discussion ![]() ![]() migya make the ring fall on ya |

No. Let it go. As XBay said, let's put it all in the past and move on towards a new, fresh start. I don't think it's a good idea to bring back even more crap from the past. If this episode has something to teach us is that we can't take things too seriously on a message board. |

My take: props to the mods for the great posts and for making this a non-call. Let the players play. I agree. Enough babysitting and pacifying, already. I could say a few more things, but I’m late here, so I don’t want to rehash any ugliness.
As for this site, it’s great! You’ll always have changes (I think TMC said it) like any other board. It will always continue to be dynamic and reshape itself like an amoeba. That’s how life works; it’s not necessarily a bad thing. The most important thing is we have a great mix of great (old and new) diverse members who are the underlying foundation of the board. Likewise, I especially would like for people not to take things and themselves too seriously. This is just a message board. Big fuckin’ deal. Again, let the players play and mainly kick spam and trolls away. To improve this board, I suggest creating an OPEN thread with fewer restrictions. I hate barriers and controls, anyway. I get enough of that sh*t in everyday life. It’s via special access for members who want to participate. This is a bar scene, a comedy club, a strip club, whatever. It’s like Vegas instead of the other Politically Correct forums. But what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. Mods can decide the extent. Language is more free-flowing, humor is there, and people there can feel more themselves. This place needs an outlet, that’s for damn sure. I’ll be there, and will be on this board much more. |

We had a forum like that once, with no moderation at all (except to erase porn links and things like that). Problem is, not many people posted in there. It must have had like 10 or 12 threads max in its history, so it's not like it was a big success. Maybe we could try something like that in the off-topic, instead of creating a new forum. Be more careful with what we allow on the Warriors forum (and others) and relax the grip a bit more on the off-topic. That could be an option. |

Can somebody give me the Reader's Digest/Cliffs Notes version of how this subject has evolved to this point? I have gone back through the varius threads and am still a bit clueless on how we have digressed to where we are today. One general statment for the board: "Any topic of discussion, even the politically controversial ones, is better than the free throw guy rambling about free throws." |

Hey, Obtain a clue!
Some guys spending all their f-cking time on a sports board, you'd have to expect some women bashing and homo baiting amongst themselves. War Years

I think u guys are taking this way too seriously all he said was that sometimes its not the mans fault in the relationship and deceit and abuse can go both ways in a relationship. I mean migya used some crude profanity but so wat.
