what do you think about the political news over the last few days?
Obama's Speech - too elitist?
Biden VP
or
Sara Palin VP
Palin basically asked disgruntled Clinton fans to vote for her. do you think they'll bite?

I think anybody with a brain would avoid voting for McCain to get her in as VP. Disgruntled Clinton voters? campaigns are jokes, because you shouldn't vote for somebody because of their gender or their race. It should be the best candidate. Whoever will make the best changes for the country, and to me it seems like Obama will deliver. When I think of McCain i think , "great, this guy will send us to war again just because he can actually tell the people he knows what its like to fight in a war". I'm tired of conflicts and I'm tired of the elite only thinking about how to get in good with foreign countries to make more money. We need to take care of domestic problems now.
I think the speech was really good... he was well spoken as always, but he gave specifics as well. not just "hope, change, change, hope".
I liked the line (I'm paraphrasing):
"I'm not questioning McCain love of this country, I just don't think he know how to lead"
he didn't worry about the haters, aka you didn't hear "John McCain says this and that about me and hes wrong because yada yada yada"
and in general he just sounded really confident. didn't seem to be on offense or defense, just was like "hear is what I believe. your welcome to try and take me down McCain. I ain't never scared" type of attitude.
oh and sara palin is a joke

Beacuse basically are votes dont count.its Electoral College vote And they mostly vote republican
Actually your votes DO count because the electoral college vote is decided based on the majority vote of the state. If the majority vote is for Obama in California, then he will win the electoral votes of Cal. and so on for every state each candidate wins.
Palin and McCain have met ONE TIME previous to the VP selection. AND she has way less experience then Obama. AND McCain turned 72 today and is oldest presidential candidate (aka he may not make 4 more years).
and shes a crazy super conservative.
Is it just me, or is the Sara Palin VP move extremely stupid?

go obama, the most extraordinary public figure of my adult life...as for sarah palin, does mccain REALLY think hillary supporters are that dumb? a pro-life, pro-gun, pro big-oil, creationist? a Pat Buchanan supporter? Thinks women who are raped should have to give birth tho the rapist's child? a 1 year governor of a state the size of oakland, whose previous gig was being mayor of the hometown of 8500 she grew up in? seriously? she is the clarence thomas of women, and i think once the surprise wears off she will prove a disastrous pick. how patronizing and trivializing....

California should be a Democratic state this election again as far as I know, so Obama should have us locked for one state.
