played my first online game today against my brother, raiders against niners. I was down by a touchdown with 2 seconds left, no timeouts on the goaline. I ran a play with VD in the flat and he got stopped short. It was ridiculous.

I need to start getting online and practicing more with the Vikings. I only have used them in franchise mode and so far I'm 6-1. That loss against the Saints was just terrible. My line could not block for AP at all... yet, he still had 90 yards on 22 carries for one TD. But I threw 3 picks with Tavaris because the line could not give me enough time in the pocket or even scramble. It was just terrible.

Then again, I came back against the Lions by putting up 172 yards with 2 rushing TD's and one catching TD by AP on 24 carries, so it made up for the previous game.

Hopefully, Jared Allen will keep doing what he does for me against you guys in our online league. So far he has 10 sacks in seven games and completely disrupting the opposing QB's concentration in the pocket.

I have problems trusting my receivers, so i hardly throw to them. VD is a beast through, linebackers or safetys cannot cover him. Gore is a two way threat too. I really like this game. There are a lot of little details, like the stains on the uniforms. The stains aren't just standard , they actually happen on spots they are supposed too. And apparently, a patch is coming out that will make the field get messed up a lot more with weather conditions.

I feel you. Sidney Rice and Bernard Berrian ain't exactly go-to guys. And then, I have no TE. Kleinhausser drops the ball and awful lot when I get it to him and my FB drops it as well. I can only trust AP and Taylor most of the time.

My God, I played my first ranked game yesterday... my opponent was TERRIBLE. I was up 28-7 by halftime and ended up winning 42-14 after my opponent conceded defeat in the 3rd quarter after he fumbled the kickoff and I recovered. He was the Giants and I was the Vikings. His resume is ugly and his play selection was horrid.
