So wat political party do u all associate urselves with and wat politicians represent ur beliefs best. I dont mean just liberal and conservative be more descriptive. Im interested in seeing the views u guys have. For me im a libertarian socialist or an anarchist :mrgreen: I follow a lot of Chomsky's political ideals and if I could have voted in the primary I would have voted for Kucinich. I also like Ron Paul a lot.
Basketball would be depressing without the warriors

I have a lot of strong views on politics and the state of our nation, but I have learned that I get too emotional discussing the topic at times so forgive me if I dont participate in this thread.

The government is lame. I hate any political related topics, to be honest. I despise everything the government stands for.

In other words, I don't pay attention to politics. I do pay attention to our economy, though every now and then.

I felt much like you xbay until I had children. then everything changes. almost every thought I have is how can I help my children have the best life possible. You then realize how much everything from local to national policy affects them and their future.

That's true. My mom told me she'd never be involved with paying attention the news regarding the political issues at hand and vote if she didn't have me and my sister. She wanted us to have a successful life or at least one that was as best as possible.

I took AP Government and AP Economy during my senior year in high school just to freshen up my memory since I don't pay attention to those things much. Certainly, when I have a kid, I'll be paying attention to them a lot because I'll want that kid to be able to push for whatever he wants to become without certain laws getting in the way.

Another Politcs Thread :shock:

::lol: oh brother...

So I lean to the left \\\\\\\\\\\ not kukoo anachist left, but pretty far left.. pretty close to Kucinich left.

My interest in politics comes from a natural interest in history that I've had from a very early age. If you don't study history, you are doomed to repeat it. It drives me batty to see us roll back hundreds of years of freedoms that were fought for, and died for. and for what, fear? or fear itself? We dishonor those who fought and died for real freedom by allowing tyrants to run the white house and destroy the law of the land.

ok... time for a Pacifico... 8)

if i had believed in humanity, i would say i'm an anarchist, but, as i have no belief in it,i must say that i'm a moderate leftist.
simply - everyone must be equal in their rights.and the main right is - i won't tolerate any antiegalitarian statements regarding my and anyone else's position.
"i wish i was a little bit taller" skee lo
