This is not a song, just the intro to the song "Prove it all Night" by Springsteen. But this intro is probably the best ever, if you haven't heard it before, enjoy :)

supersilent

this is the band, whose show in oslo 2006 rockefeler was my best live music experience. it was so mindblowing, that after it i got so drunk, which resulted in me being robbed, trying to get into fight with some polish guy, being woken up by oslo police somewhere in the streets and losing all my documents, money, and necklace i made the day before the concert.
if you'll listen you'll get what i mean.
(though it's very unlikely anyone's here into that kind of music)
nevertheless, it's worth experiencing, at least once.[/url]

What do you call that kind of music? Definitely not something you hear everyday :)

I think I have asked you this before, but did you live in Norway or were you just visiting?

It's not safe to walk the streets of Oslo at night anymore. There are gangs robbing drunk people, and they knock down people for fun. Especially in the area around Oslo Central Station.

it's certainly free improvisation, all four guys meet and play without repetition (or whatever the word), all four are major figures in norwegian jazz and electronic scene - from arve henriksen to deathprod ( forgot his real name).
i usually coem to norway at the end of spring and work there till the end of september. been 8 summers like that already.
well, i never been attacked by anyone while i'm pretty much sober, and very seldomly i get drunk completely back in norway, so i'm not afraid.
plus my night life, best crazy nightlife in oslo was spent in gronland, so hm, i guess i'm lucky.

Cool, do you listen to a band called Xploding Plastix? They're a band from my hometown. I think they play electronica with elements of jazz. I really haven't listened much to norwegian jazz.
