NBA TV is my best friend in Chico. Those Sacramento Queens bastards block out FSN Bay Area during Warrior broadcasts, so it's a necessary thing to have. I got it for less than $30 a month...
Of course, my first semester in the dorms, I lived off live game boxes. You know; go the NBA.com/Warriors and click on the live stat tracker thing. It was horrendous and made all the suspense last twice as long... but you gotta do what you gotta do in college. ![]() GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS DIE HARD ![]() ![]() |

You know, I have never tried it but I would imagine a slignbox hooked up to your parents tv or someone in the area would work as a substitute. You would have to watch all the games on your PC or laptop but at least it is something, albeit a somewhat pricey solution.
I suppose it is still cheaper than actually going to the game after the ticket price hike. |

You don't think something like a slingbox has some sort of range on it...? You think a guy in Santa Barbara could still get his parent's TV back in the Bay?
I know nothing about the slingbox; I'm just curious. ![]() GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS DIE HARD ![]() ![]() |

From what understand of Slingbox is that it has no range because it is run through the internet. That is what my boss at work told me, he has had one for a while now. That is how we all watched world cup games at work.
But hell, I have never tried it, so who knows. |

I just threw the range idea out there because it seemed like something that sort of device would have... but Thunder's boss probably knows more than I do about the thing (I've never even seen one, besides on TV).
