I agree with Newman... that contract seriously holds back a lot of trade options. I doubt the Sonics want Shard, Ray, and Mike's contracts on their team. At the moment, he doesn't seem worth it.

Havent the Bulls always been really big on him?
|

If they were, not anymore. Not with Luol Deng in the fold... |

Dunleavy's "potential" as some say, would be attractive to most teams BUT now with the big contract it is not so attractive at all. Actually looks alot like a fat stank wearing skimpy shiit sitiing with her legs open and not cross legged..........

Graphic.
Anyways, I'd say Dunleavy's potential is semi-attractive, but when you see his contract, you'll probably bolt. As Warrior fans, we can only hope that he lives up to the money because, obviously, there wont be many takers for his salary now. ![]() GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS DIE HARD ![]() ![]() |

The reason why we are asking for him to be traded because he is not performing well. It's already 6 games into the season and he is putting up ugly figures. And to think the Warriors extended his contract.
Trade him now when he still has some sort of value. When the entire league see's that he is a bust then no one will take him. Not even for a 3rd round pick. |

Wow dude I hope u weren’t serious about the whole 6 games reference. I'll say it one more time; Basketball is a game of streaks. A person has to be in perfect rhythm with his mind, to shoot well, Dunleavy is going though a cold spell, that is it, he did not lose his skills. He will bust out one of these days and shoot 60% for a month, and then everybody is gonna be praising mullin for signing him early this year.(It was a horrible signing by mullin) PS I still want dunleavy off the team, pietrus is and should be the warriors future at SF. ![]() |

True that it is still early and that players sometimes go through periods where they are below what they usually are. The thing is that dunleavy will probably continue like this for the rest of the month and that is quite a long period of time to be playing poorly.
I reckon dun could be traded in a package deal such as dun, Murphy and Taft for Pierce, Perkins and Jefferson/LaFrenz. That would not be a bad trade but Murph and Taft I would like to see more of. That might be the only way to ever get rid of dun for decent talent though. Pietrus over dun is obviously my wish! Pietrus does have to do more than just score well. Rebounding, passing and using that athleticism for steals and blocks are essential! He has the ability to do all those things well if he focuses ![]() ![]() migya make the ring fall on ya |

Pietrus has begun to get his swing back... but it's happening just after Mike signed that extension (meaning playing time will be even HARDER now that we've committed to Mike). Here's hoping with Mickael...

Fact is that Dunleavy is basically untradable for the next two years, as he's a base year player due to his extension...

There's always a team that wants a player that is called "potentially good".

Yeah, but we wouldn't want any of their players. Even their rookies are unproven. Besides, now that Larry Brown's there, they may not be as easy to punish with has-beens.

None of their players are worthy of the Warriors, except maybe Nate Robinson, who looks really good.

dont see much of the College game here in Australia.Could he actually shoot when he played for Duke?
|
|
|
Yes, he was a good marksman in college... but I attribute that moreso to the team than Dunleavy. Duke has always played a team-based game of ball.
