here's the rumor swirling around warrior headquarters today:
Al, Wright, Beli, and MP for Elton Brand. It wasn't specified if this came from Mullin directly, but just that it has been swirling around the office. And it works salary-wise. Just passing on the info, so don't go crazy on me. |

that would be a great trade. Well anything that gets rid of MP works for me. I feel like everytime he goes out, he's gonna sabotage the game for us. Plus he can't make a shot.

The salaries seem to work, there are a few other ways we could work the trade...though I am not sure what LA is really looking to get in return. I would make this trade, but would not like to give up Monta or Wright...and I am pretty sure they would want at least one of those.

I'm not doubting you, aletha... but why would the Clips make such a trade?. Once Brand comes back from his injury (once he really comes back, so that means next season), they're one PG away from being a playoff team in the west. Why blow up the team at this point? Something doesn't add up... |

hey, i'm just simply passing on what I heard. i'm not questioning the reasoning on either side... if I were LA, I wouldn't do that either... but if i had to answer that question, LA gets some potentially pretty nice players in Wright & Belleneli and a personal favorite of mine Al - for someone who has suffered a major injury, been out of the game for almost a LONG time, and not knowing if brand will ever return to form... plus, how many times in the history of the LA Clippers can we question their sanity about a trade... but ya, on the surface, doesn't make sense either.... |
