Terrible for Detroit. Just terrible. |

hey i got i trade too.
Matt Barnes for Kevin Durant Works for both teams Basketball would be depressing without the warriors

i'd like to see you guys come up with a trade that makes sense.
Clifford Rozier rememer him?

For example, Pietrus for Hakim Warrick was discussed before, and that's a feasible one. Of course Warrick wouldn't improve us THAT much, it's not an extremely appealing trade, but you don't get many of those, much less when you're proposing the trade. You have to overpay when you're the one that wants to trade. |

makes sense.... hmmm so who would you rather have hakim warrick or sean williams of the nets who do you think will help the team more? Clifford Rozier rememer him?

Basketball would be depressing without the warriors

If you cant say something that makes sense...................then say nothing at all...................hence the lack of REAL!!! trades being suggested here.
Just because there is a trade board, doesnt mean you have to use it every day all day...............
This board should be used for trades that are actually possible and/or happening.................Barnes/Pietrus for Prince?????????????? do you know who Prince is? |
|
Well, at least good for ONE team. If we break this down... - mid 2nd round picks RARELY even make a roster. They are pretty much strickly training camp fodder. There is the occasional good player but that is EXTREMELY rare. - Pietrus - would never be a fit on such a deciplined team. Pietrus makes way too many mistakes. Sttrickly a situational role player -Barnes - has not shown he can consistently play at a high level to give up an established veteran such as Prince. Prince is so consistent I just dont see where Detroit is getting anything that makes them better. And try selling this to your fan base for such a well liked player. _____________________________________________________

The thing about it is that a trade needs to address a need for both teams. Back when the Blazers were shopping Randolph and the Warriors were trying to rid themselves of Jason Richardson's contract, I came up with this feasable trade idea: http://www.goldenstwarriors.com/viewtopic.php?t=4465 Also, over the summer, the Yi drama in Milwaukee combined with Miami's emphatuation with Mickael Pietrus prompted me to propose this logical trade idea: http://www.goldenstwarriors.com/viewtopic.php?t=4816 But creating trade ideas just for the sake of ideas doesn't work. There has to be a logical reason both teams go for the trade. Detroit is in love with Tayshaun Prince. They won't trade him for 2 bench players and a miserable, 2nd round pick. If you were Detroit, WHY would you make that trade? 2 average players do not equal 1 good player. ![]() GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS DIE HARD ![]() ![]() |

that would be nice for us, though i doubt they need Pietrus with Gay, Mike Miller and Jacobsen on the rooster... |
