Hei...other members keep making fantasy trade that hard to be come true...
I want to make one in here..

How about AL+POB+Pietrus+10 mil exception for LaMarcus Aldridge...
Just talk to his agent and say 'Hey dude, 10 mil for u and make Aldridge wear W's uniform' we will pay Aldridge $15 mil/year.....
hehehe i believe LAmarcus will accept that coz he can't get that amount in Portland.

Money can buy championships. :D

Aldridge is good but he's not worth 15mil yet.

And money doesn't always buy you championships. Just look at the Knicks. And then look at teams that didn't use money and look at where they stand in the NBA... Pistons and Spurs.

That's correct. Aldridge is being compared talent-wise with Rasheed Wallace quite a bit. Portland is not letting him go, that's the bottom line.

Well, if u have money that's mean u already one step close to the championships...KNICKS is just the stupid case...They don't know which one are good players.
If W's financial like KNICKS maybe is different story coz our GM is a lot smarter than Knicks GM.Mullin and Nellie will work together and select which players will fit perfectly for W's.
Mavs spend a lot money too and they are contender team in the west conf.
I am not sure how much money SPURS spend money for the players?

They draft good young players that turn out to be superstars (Duncan, Parker, Ginobili), then fill them with role players that complete the team (Bowen, Barry, Bonner)... exactly how you are supposed to do it.

The Spurs have done it by forming a system that caters to their players and developing their players and keeping them. There is loyalty in the Spurs and that isn't so for most other teams

We can't pay that much due to NBA rules, not to mention contracts can't be renegotiated before they're done.

I like LaMarcus Aldridge! He's had a pretty good season! He would be a good W's big man!

That is exactly why Portland wont trade him.

If they were doing bad, he might have been had then, but not with their success this year.

If the W's had traded Murphy that yr for the Bulls 2nd pick. Would you have draft LaMarcus or have the team we have now for Jackson and Harrington? I remember a rumor back then when the Bulls needed a big man!

Are you seriously saying that you would rather have Aldridge than Jackson AND Harrington? If not, nevermind, but that is rediculous. I will take Jackson and Harrington every day and twice on Sunday. Aldridge is a good player, and he has a lot of time to improve, but he will never be a top player. Jackson and Harrington are too valuable to the team.

No I am not serious! It's merely a discussion...Forget the fact that I was being civil toward you.

The only rumor that I supported back then was when Murphy was discussed for Boozer a few years ago! Knowing you probably weren't a supporter of Boozer.

Just speak to someone else buddy! You're to immature to have a simple discussion with! BYE! BYE! :)

One more thing there sfsfg! You probably wouldn't have traded for the prob child Jackson back then either. So don't bring that into the discussion ok.

Did you, of all people, just call me immature? Wow....

I am just going to leave it at that.
