Yep. Crappiest deal I've seen for KG in a long time.

Hey, McHale's involved. I think it's sh*tty, but with McHale calling the shots, there's a chance it may work.

If he thinks getting the #3 and #11 draft picks are enough for KG, he'll jump for joy at this

Yeah. I'd wager, crappier than miggy's former champ (Murphy, Taft, & Zarko for KG).

Not that bad, as even I believe Wright will be better than all the players involved in that deal... but almost. Al Harrington, Wright and fillers for KG?. No GM in his right mind would go for that.

Crappier than selecting Gerald Green ahead of majority of players in an nba talent distribution thread???? Well.
McHale would accept this deal and probably trade the two big, soon to be expiring contracts for even more young talent

Very true... I guess no deal will ever be as crappy as Murphy, Zarko, and Taft for Kevin Garnett.
Hearing him try to justify it was priceless.

You'd think a GM agreeing to trade one of the best players in the game of the last decade (and still among the best) for #3 and #11 picks in the draft is crazy but yet that's what McHale was willing to do. Garnett for two unproven lottery picks is ludicrous so getting a young proven forward, a lottery pick and two valuable expiring contracts that can be used for trades is a better deal
