Since Detroit was interested in Barnes earlier this year. If Mullin thinks we can't afford him. Then do a sign and trade and ship him to Detroit for Jason Maxiell. That guy is a ****ing beast who needs playing time he could help out the W's with his interior toughness! He doesn't make alot of money either!

Could be a possible trade but I'm not sure how much Maxiell would play here. Not sure if he can run well and if he would fit better than say, Powell does. Barnes should be resigned for the MLE or salary thereabouts but nothing huge ie DUN'S CONTRACT!

No way. Maxiell is still valuable for them. Now that Saunders gave him a chance to play, Dumars isn't going to let him get away from him. The thing is, I doubt Barnes would fit in Detroit. They play low tempo offense when he excels in the open court. Maxiell would be good, but with the loss of Big Ben and Wallace and McDyess their aging post players, they'd want to develop him more.
