A real fan is a person who truly wants the best for the team and that means can actually see beyond the end of his nose! The team was looking out of the playoff race and in fact is lucky that other teams vying for the last playoff spot have been losing as well otherwise they wouldn't have a chance and they would be in the lottery no doubt. The team has weaknesses, PF being the significant one, and these have to be addresed. Getting a high draft pick could well solve that and could lead to this being the last time the team is a playoff wannabe and actually becomes a playoff regular. As it is, the team has looked very good the last 3 games and if they can keep it up and make the playoffs then great, if not, everyone will be talking about how the team should have tanked when they had the 6 game losing streak!

Baron, Harrington and this draft's 1st rounder for Jefferson, Delonte, Wally and Ratliff.

Celts finally get a great PG and since he is great friends with Pierce, Pierce is kept happy, something that is not a certain thing lately. Harrington can replace Jefferson at PF offering more speed and outside shooting. He can play SF with Gomes at PF as well. The Celts can get a Center and PF with their draft pick and ours so they are well off and with this team they could not only make the playoffs but make a run as well.

Warrioes get the PF they need as Jefferson gives the scoring, rebounding and defense. Delonte becomes backup combo guard that can start at PG if need be as well. Wally's contract ends in 2 years but he is a very good shooter that could fit well in the team. Ratliff is an expirer so Monta and Biedrins could be resigned

And when he's there, others play too... that my friends, is called TEAM ball.

Tonights game should be the absolute checkmate for any of those stubbord morons clamoring for a Baron Davis trade this year when he went down with an injury. :roll:

Baron Davis is the soul of this lineup. When he's healthy, we stomp the Pistons and Clippers by 20. When he's gone, we get blown out by the Blazers. Anybody who doesn't want to resign him seriously needs to rethink that. And anybody who wants to TRADE him is insane. Seriously.

Strange how before the trade the team won just as much without Baron as they did with him :roll:

The team will be just fine without Baron and with a great PF to go with Biedrins. A capable PG is much easier to find than a great big :wink:

Monta has played decently at PG since the trade! He is very young and has improved alot with his PG skills during the season. His TOs have been generally down the last couple of months as well.

Point is that Baron is too injuryprone and too overpriced! I'd rather throw 10 million bucks at Mo williams and get rid of Baron. Mo Williams has done as much as Baron this season (or very close) and wil never get paid what Baron does and will never miss as many games as Baron has and likely will. Even with Baron, the team has never been more than a 50% team and that will never be enough to get anywhere near a championship. Him and Harrington have to go (more Harrington than him) and replaced by cheaper players and, in the case of Harrington, a better fit at that position
