HM

I don't really like any of the players that Chicago has to offer because most of their players are untouchables (Gordan, Hinrich, Deng). Nocioni is a good prospect but Warriors already have depth in the 3-4 spot.

But if the Warriors could get a three way trade off with Chicago and Philly, and somehow manage to stick with Davis, Richardson, Pietrus with AI added. I don't think there is a team that could stop the Warriors.
New. Stuff.

I'd do it for anyone. It works without any fillers for PJ Brown (he's an expirer). Getting rid of Murphy would free up salary to re-sign Monta, MP, Biedrins...

I don't think Murph fits Chicago's style, but that'd be their problem.

No reason why the Bulls would want Murphy! BWallace is their Center and they need to get Tyrus Thomas the minutes. They have all these young guys which have to be resigned soon so it doesn't make sense

Yeah, I remember that MP was their objective for that draft... but, since then, their interest seems to have cooled. And they are pretty high in their rookie Sefolosha, who plays there.

I still don't see why they'd want Murphy, but whatever gets him out of our roster is good news to me.

I can see why the Bulls would want this trade...

I mean, Tyrus Thomas is gonna need to develop, PJ Brown has been disappointing (reliable, as always, but lackluster), and (as his numbers say) Ben Wallace has been struggling out of Detroit. Murphy would add another scoring kick to an already dangerous team. I mean, honestly, Murphy is leagues above Wallace, Brown, or Thomas in the scoring department. Plus, he's got a huge reputation for being a monster on the glass... and, in a weak Eastern Conference, I can see him dominating.

The question is, why the hell would they wanna eat his contract?

Murphy just does not fit a running game and/or a defensive minded game. The Bulls play a bit of both and so it makes no sense for them to get Murphy

Well, right now, they might think that by pairing Murphy with Ben Wallace inside, his defensive liabilities might get a bit covered up. And, as I said, on offense, he's way better than any other big they've currently got.

Tyrus Thomas is getting more time lately and he is who the Bulls are grooming as PF. Murphy just would not fit in Skiles' system of work hard

I'll take Gordon for anyone... I'd even be willing to deal Monta for Ben Gordon. (Yeah, call me crazy.)

That's not crazy; they're the same player. They both make a ton of turnovers and only show up in the fourth quarter (but have HELLA game when they do show up).

Ben Gordon would average more points in Golden State than he does in Chicago. Just throwing that out there.

Monta Ellis will hopefully blossom into a 20 PPG scorer with at least SOME playmaking skills (so far, he has none)... and I hope to God he cuts down on those TO's, too.

Gordon got the most MPG of his career last season (31 a night) where he averaged 17 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2.3 TO's a game. Ellis (this season) is averaging 34 minutes... and strikingly similar numbers: 18 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3.5 TO's a game (with very similar %'s... except 3's, where Gordon beats the hell out of him).
