 Don't bother though Ike has answered them instead, funny how he scores 25pts with 8 reb's play's 41 minutes without fouling out and you point out he had 8 to's  Ike showed he is capable of staying on the floor and can be a scoring force in Nellie's system but expectantly still has a way's to go being only his second year in the league, first full training camp/preseason and new system to adapt to= Hella stupid to give up on Ike

Um... anyone? If there's one thing the Warriors aren't short on, it's scorers. On any given night, Monta Ellis, Dajuan Wagner, or even Anthony Roberson can carry the offensive load for Golden State. Ike is just a damn good player. You're claiming the offense 'ran through him'. As I recall, he went 6/7 from the field. Monta Ellis (17), Patrick O'Bryant (11), Dajuan Wagner (14), Anthony Roberson (8), Keith McCould (8), and Matt Barnes (8) all had more shot attempts than Ike. How do you figure the offense ran through him? He had the 3rd least amount of shot attempts on the team (behind only Foyle and Biedrins, who are offensively retarded)!
I didn't forget about it. In fact, I mentioned in another thread that this is unacceptable... in a regular season game. But preseason? I'm not too worried about.  GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS DIE HARD   |

It shouldn't be a suprise to see him score that much for! It should be expected for him most nights since Murph is not in the lineup!
Don't worry Ike will have a hard time when regular season starts and when Murphy is back on the floor. Under Nellie's offense Ike will have a hard time getting his pts since the W's won't slow it down for him...A undersize PF who isn't superquick does not spell success in Nellie's offense!!! He'll have an average season for 2006-07!!! |

What you're forgetting , miggy, is that Nelly rotates big men all game long. I guarentee you we'll see a fair rotation of Murph-Dunleavy-Biedrins-Foyle-Ike in the season.
Ike probably won't average over 20 minutes a game... but he'll have plenty of nights where he can shine (as will everyone else). Besides, I, for one, think Nelly's trying to challenge Ike (like he's doing with Dajuan and Monta). He's trying to get him to work harder. GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS DIE HARD |

i don't think its time to trade ike yet because he can in any given game have the warriors on his back. i remember watching a pistons game where ike litteraly had us. and he got rasheed kinda mad too because he was getting challenged by a rookie hehe
