KNBR is reporting that the Warriors have apparently signed Croshere.

Whoops. Croshere didn't go to UCLA.
Anyway, the Dubs also signed big man Kosta "Three Rebounds Per Game" Perovic. I feel really bad for Barnes. Hope he manages to stick around somehow.

I hope someone gets traded.... POB, Foyle, Croshere, SOMEONE!!!

Even if Pietrus resigns (in light of the Kosta/Croshere signings), we're still nearly $8 million under the cap. Plus, we have the TE.
I think its safe to assume more moves are coming. Our big sign of the summer better not be Austin Croshere. ![]() GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS DIE HARD ![]() ![]() |

Did you mean luxury tax threshold 32? We are OVER the cap, but under the luxury tax threshold. _____________________________________________________

Robert Rowell..
"There's intentions to continue to make this team better and to put the resources in position and to manage the resources properly to be able to accomplish our objective, and that is to put a better basketball team out on the floor than we had last year," team president Robert Rowell said on KNBR radio. "I think we're putting those things in motion, and we're not finished doing what we need to do."..... The Broe Knows Dont Hate....

In other words, Croshere and/or Perovic are trade items?
I know the Warriors aren't done making moves, but I can't see what they've accomplished by signing those two. ![]() GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS DIE HARD ![]() ![]() |

It's official.
I think these two are going to be used a trade bait or throw ins. I'm pretty sure we won't be seeing much action from these guys. Don't hate yourself in the morning... sleep 'til noon.

Austin Croshere and Kosta Perovic... Who in their right mind is gonna trade for those two?.
Any info about their contracts?. I hope it's not more than a one-year deal for each of them. |
|
If Mullin has that in plan and it can get the team a star big, it will be a marvelous move but Mullin has to do such a deal because the roster right now looks bad ![]() ![]() migya make the ring fall on ya |

Croshere is one year. Perovic is a multiyear....
Only one roster spot left. If MP leaves, it's through sign and trade which means no Barnes. Unless Lasme or someone goes to D-League... someone's not coming or returning that we'd like. Don't hate yourself in the morning... sleep 'til noon.

One roster spot means that they're still trying to make a trade.
There's no marquee free agent out there that can help us the way Mullin and company are hinting at. They're going after a PF. Hopefully, we'll end up with a Drew Gooden or Anderson Varejao, but you can't be sure anymore. I know Cleveland is looking for a quality backup shooting guard to start 20 or so games when Hughes gets injured, so Mullin might be dangling Marco Belinelli or Kelenna Azuibuke in the deal. ![]() GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS DIE HARD ![]() ![]() |

I would love Varejao, but DO NOT give up Marco. I really wouldnt want to give up kelenna either, but you gotta give stuff to get stuff.
|
|
|
I think Varejao for either Belinelli or Azuibuke is a screaming deal for Golden State.
The Warriors have a slew of scorers. Losing one won't hurt (especially for a rebounder/defender that would only improve the team). ![]() GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS DIE HARD ![]() ![]() |
