You'd settle for Pietrus because "he's the best we've got"?

Why not let him go and spend the money from his contract on a SF in the draft (or trade for one)?

If Pietrus has a repeat season of last season (or even the season before THAT... with more minutes), we should let him go. In 25 minutes a game, he should be scoring 13-14 points a game. That's what he does. He shoots and drives; he can't dribbe, he's a capable defender (note: capable, not stopper), and his fundamental skills are comically poor.

Because the Warriors have a habbit of letting people go, and the next season they leave, they become all stars.

MP is deserving of a spot on this team. Someone needs to make Dunboy work for his starting role.

MP was cursed by being stuck with Monty, if MP can't flourish in Nellie's run and gun style of play, then this question can be addressed...

You said it...If all he did was bust his ass on D and use his athleticism on both ends of the court, then he will be a force next season. Settling for the 3 pointer is not using his athleticism...

Every night, before I go to sleep, I slice my Van Exel voodoo doll in the neck and achillies with dull razor blades, sending death threats to his mother, while silently praying he gets piles.
