Don't give up Corey. You have 5 more minutes to show the world you can shoot. You can do it.
Nevermind. You got benched. Mr. Rand-McAlly

can anyone verify that randolph's "injury" played a part in him only getting crap PT like it was last year all over again??

Ah...
Good effort, good game. We did a lot of good things but Houston was lights-out from 3PT and FT... And we had some rotten luck on our own inside shooting. Thoughts: - Hated watching Maggette (and to an extent, Jackson) playing the same stand-up, isolation game. Maggette has no business shooting outside shots when he's not wide open, especially not when we have guys like Curry, Morrow, and Azubuike who can actually make those shots... - Having just 2 fully healthy big men was tough on the team; Biedrins and Turiaf were both constantly flirting with foul trouble. Randolph did very well when he came in; hopefully that back doesn't bother him and he can get more PT on Friday. - Monta looks back in full form, and seems to be working well with the other guys. Loved that one dunk he had in the first quarter. - Curry looks like a true PG. Can't wait to see him get better. It's awesome to have a guy who can actually get you ten assists and a few steals every night. On top of that, he seemed to make [mostly] good decisions, and make them quickly. It was great seeing him take control at the end, and come up with those two jumpers to close the gap. - I don't hate the guy, but I am sure going to be happy to have Jack out. Hopefully we get a starting caliber big man out of it (Camby?). Between AR, Camby, Biedrins, and Turiaf, our front four would be pretty fierce. Plus, getting rid of Jack means more PT and more opportunities for Azubuike and Morrow. - I think the team could do better than expected if certain things work out. Specifically, Nelson needs to unleash the youth. Let each young guy do everything in his ability to help the team, and that means giving them the playing time to let that happen. IMO we outplayed Houston for 80% of this game, and lost purely due to bad luck in that we had an off shooting night and they had what will possibly be their best of the year... Also if we get a legit big man for Jack, we won't have to worry as much about foul trouble inside. Last edited by D4rk 0ne on Wed Oct 28, 2009 10:15 pm, edited 1 time in total.

good, plenty of Magette bashing... he deserves it...
If he takes another 3pt attempt, he should be benched!! Cory, you are here to play defense and get to the line... Curry looks great!! Azu and Morrow need more looks! wtf happened in that 3rd quarter? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3pIsA0Q ... re=related

Curry really should have let Jackson take that three towards the end

Maggette, you truly were a black hole tonight.
Jackson, meh. Monta, woah that spin move was sexy. I literally blinked and he already laid it up and in. Curry, I love this kid. Don't hate yourself in the morning... sleep 'til noon.

We can never be absolutely positive, but if it's worth anything I think it's a legit injury and they were just being cautious tonight. Mr. Rand-McAlly
