Acie Law really suprising me, after what he showed in the summer league I had written him off, but he is proving me wrong, and am happy to see him on.

OK law is officially impressing me.
The speed at which he brings it up the court is fantastic, tough, got a few good boards, trying his best to guard Kobe, I love it. then he hit two threes. btw completely unrelated: I'm seeing ads for the Brian McKnight show (I guess it's only on in LA cuz I've never heard of it) - Is it just me or did McKnight get like 5 shades darker? Gotta love this game maturity from the youth in the end of the game. tough D, Randolph and Biedrins = 20 boards, pretty good shot selection all around, few turnovers, CAPITALIZING off of turn overs (a huge problem last year).... AND THE ICING ON THE CAKE... we gave it to the lakers WITHOUT STEPHEN JACKASS. like I said, B Wrights not here, lets pick up an expiring PF vet. we need some REAL bulk (sorry mikki moore) to guard the bynums and howards of the league. if biedrins ain't in he and pau just goes to work Last edited by first off on Fri Oct 09, 2009 9:51 pm, edited 4 times in total.

good to blow out the corn flakers. Good to see the refs had kobe with 5 fouls in the 3rd. The others refs only call 1 foul on kobe every 2 games. 1 thing I think the other refs are corrupt and these refs are not able to be corrupted in such a short period of time.

Ric Bucher tweeted live from the game tonight, check it out

That's good news. Any bad thing for the Lakers is a good thing. Also, as long as Maggette drives and drives and gets FTs, he is an asset to the team andmaybe even worth themoney he gets. He just has to do that and he has a role, an important one too ![]() ![]() migya make the ring fall on ya |

agreed. he's gotta turn it over less though. 2 of the 5 were just bad calls tonight, but the other ones were things you just can't get from a vet - traveling, a bad pass, and bad court vision (artest take away). I was pleased with his effort, and the intangibles 2nt though. when he was in the game he ran the floor hard on fast breaks, making easy buckets possible for other players. |

Any one still think curry isn't a natural point guard? Sure his shots not falling, but 8 assists with 0 turnovers is real impressive
can someone elaborate on Law? I'm reading real positive things |

Not enough time or space for all three of them, that being Monta, Curry and Law. What is shown is that the team has many capable players, but not a great top 6 or 7 that can win alot of games really

I know its pre season, but I have a feeling or season is going to look alot like this. win one loose one.

monta had 8 curry had 8. life is good! |
|
not to mention adding watson to the mix if/when he comes back. what's astonishing to me is how poorly curry has shot the ball since he's gotten here. but really pleased with Law looking like his old self from A&M -- will he get meaningful minutes to prove his worth during the season? doubt it.. |
