whistle happy refs, not biased but wistle happy.
man if law can get some Baron-Davis-esque guard post game, he could really be useful. as of right now he is just too hesitant to shoot to justify minutes. had a wide open three pointer in the corner... couldn't pull up.

First Half- First thing that keeps coming to mind is that Shannon Brown fellow and Chris Brown are related ?
Monta looked good, still has the speed, the jumper, playing the pg position without much distress. Jax is still Jax, that man needs counseling. Wish AR would get more invloved, he hit his shots when open, he only has 3 rebounds in 19 mins. Curry was guarding Kobe vice verser, not sure how to take that line-up. Who hoo, basketball is finally here, no disrespect to the WNBA. Last edited by warriorsstepup on Fri Oct 09, 2009 8:26 pm, edited 1 time in total.

listen to these homer announcers trying to explain why their champs are losing... "this is preseason, it's really for the coaches" are the coaches playing the game? please...
now they are talking **** about our lack of defense... even though it's true...

these asshole commentators need to shut up. I hate how biased they are towards the Lakers. Nelly calls a time out and they decide to make fun of the Ws playing defence. I know we werent the best defensive team but they dont need to be jackasses about it.

I was secretly watching the WNBA just was not cutting it for me. But am serious about S-Jax needing counseling, just to clear that mind up, and learn to manage his emotioins. |

I was hoping to see more of AR against Gasoft, make use of his speed and skills against experience.
|
oh I agree wholeheartedly.. If he learned how to channel that emotion he would be a lot more consistent and therefore dangerous... Last edited by Money on Fri Oct 09, 2009 8:50 pm, edited 1 time in total.

Lets go monta... it's good when you're hot but don't forget you are a PG
|
|
What little I've seen of Monta this year: he shows the body language of a PG, he's got the handles for it for sure. He's passing first a lot but taking the open lane every time it's open. I'm ok with that for him, because he's so fast. I'm almost convinced that he wants to be a PG. Whether it works that way in the end remains to be seen. but he's showing signs that he wants it.. Not much of Morrow ? but major minutes for Azu.
AR getting major minutes good sign, but he is on the perimeter way too much, only 4 rebounds in almost 30 mins, and no blocks, this is why am afraid of putting him on the perimeter. No post play at all, Beans is only 2-3, its know its only pre-season but the starters are getting major minutes, this game can be telling for the season. So Jax stay in the locker room. I suggest the warriors send him to the Dr. Phil show, serious that would be hilarious |

He has all the signs to play the pg position, leaning more to the scoring than past first. Just limit the TO's, get the rest of the players more looks. In Nellie's system the PG dominates the ball, it would be nice to see more ball move-ment, and less Iso. |

Beans may bot be scoring but he is WORKING down low. 12 boards, seems like he wrestled down ~6 this qtr. keeping the lakers to one shot and out.
Randolph playing good D on LO. occasionally be breaks down but he's been pretty solid. no box score can reflect can reflect that. Can't guard bynum though. 285 to 220 |
|
yeah, I know, it's hard to be mad at a guy leading all scores and above 50% from the field, but I don't think he had an assist in the 3rd qtr. 8 asts total is awesome and 20+ points is awesome, I'll I want to see is a little more evenness over the qtrs. b |
