Big win............needed this one for confidence, to keep Portland out, to take advantage of Denver being rubbish and to get momentum for the road trip.............phew.

Big win, and it's good to see the team getting off to better starts. While Baron's shooting was off, at least this game he didn't keep chucking it up from outside like the other night; he did a good job of driving the lane and dishing it out or drawing the foul.
Jackson was a monster, 29 points, 9 rebounds, 2 blocks. And Wright and Harrington were both very good. I was disappointed not to see Wright get more time in the second half, but I think part of it was that Harrington was playing well and so was Croshere. Interesting that Webber didn't get in at all after the first quarter. The team is playing much better now, and hopefully they keep it going on this road trip. With 4 games in 5 days later this week, it's a great time to see so many of the guys play well coming off the bench. Good thing this game didn't come down to a 1 point difference, as that had to be the worst Technical Foul call I've ever seen - Barnes did not do a single thing, and the ref off the ball comes running in to call a T. That was BS. |
He may have elbowed the guy in the head. That was the only thing that could have justified that T. 2007 - GoldenStWarriors.com "Rookie of the Year"
