New. Stuff.

Depends on what you expect him to do. If you want a solid player that can give you 20 and 10 (or close), he's not overrated. If you want a new KG, then yeah... |
|
I like gasol but the fact is that he has only truly been great the last 2 seasons. Before then, he was an 18pt, 9reb a game player, still very good but not superstar like the way he is now ![]() ![]() migya make the ring fall on ya |

The Warriors are playing for their playoff lives while the Grizzlies are playing for the top pick in the lottery. If the W's can't beat the Grizzlies at home with the playoffs at stake then I'm not sure we deserve to be in the post season anyway. We should come out fired up and hopefully go for the throat early in the contest. |
|
I think Biedrins has a chance to guard Gasol pretty well. He can match his speed and almost his size. It's more the Chris Kamans of this world that can't guard him IMO. That being said he could very well draw three fouls on AB in 5 minutes. Still, this shouldn't be close. W's by 18. Baron sits entire fourth. |

Since when is 20, 10, and 1.5 an everyday player? Hell, Biedrins manages 10, 10, and 1.5... and people here would suck his dick if they saw him in public. If Gasol isn't a star, than neither is Dwight Howard. And neither is Emeka Okafor. Or Zach Randolph. Or Chris Bosh. Carlos Boozer. Shawn Marion. Tim Duncan. Marcus Camby. The list goes on and on. Hell, besides KG and Jermaine... who else can put up crazy ass numbers like 25, 12, and 2.5??? ![]() GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS DIE HARD ![]() ![]() |
|
Actually. Not even Jermaine has had these numbers. Tim Duncan back in the day. I'm with you though. Gasol is a superstar. |
|
Yeah 32, I agree with you. When I first read that I was chuckling inside. |

Gasol is a superstar now but only really has been for the last 2 seasons. He doesn't produce as much as Bosh, Randolph (this season only) and KG. He would be great to have though as he provides many of the things the team needs

In case you didn't know, the start time for this game got moved up to 12 noon.
I've been a Warriors fan since they traded Chris Webber. Can you imagine how that's like....
|
Randolph is on the trading block. That should tell you something about his superstar value. Seems like McMillan can't stand his selfish ways anymore. More interested in getting his 22 and 11 than winning games. Agree about the others, tho. Gasol is not, and won't be, at KG's (or Bosh's) level... but he's the next best thing right now. |

Gasol is averaging 20 and almost 10. He has never been a monster producer like the guys I mentioned but yes, he is a superstar now ![]() ![]() migya make the ring fall on ya |
