After last night's loss, this is a MUST win tonight against the Spurs. Both teams will be playing the second night of back-to-backs. The Warriors will have to rebound well and play better defensively than they have the last two games.
The Warriors were playing quite well defensively until the last two games. They were only allowing about 96 points a game in their previous eight games before Washington came to town and dropped around 70 on them in the first half. The Lakers then blitzed them for over 60 in the second half last night. Giving up 60 point halves = Warrior losses.
Baron will be tired, but he must suck it up and play well tonight. Monta was great last night outside of the one glaring turnover, and he will have to be a big factor tonight as well.
If Stephen Jackson can't keep his mouth shut, keep him on the bench. I am tired of him constantly bitching about not getting calls when he is clearly out of control driving the lane and expecting the officials to bail him out. Nellie needs to set him straight in a hurry.
Also, rebound, rebound and rebound more. I am too confident about this one though. I have a feeling last night's loss might linger tonight. We will see though.
