But I'd love Pau to leave the West. The only thing is... why the hell would you give up Gordon, Deng, and Brown for him? (I don't know, those were three players that were brought up.)

I would if I was Jerry West. I wouldn't if I was John Paxson. Deng is having a break-out season. He's a jumpshooter with 52% FG. Good defender also. |

My point is that West will probably throw an extra player in the mix to sweeten the pot for Chicago. I can't imagine giving up Deng, Gordon, and Brown without getting a swingman back.
Jerry West hasn't been right since he made the Kobe-for-Vlade trade. What if he tossed in Rudy Gay, with Gasol? I can't imagine why Chicago WOULDN"T do that. GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS DIE HARD |

Chicago won't do that. They have offered several packages, but no way they'll trade Gordon AND Deng. It would have already been a done deal if they were willing to do so. Ditto with Boston. I hope Gasol goes for a monster game!!! And close to double digits in assists to showcase his skills to Mullin and Co!!!
After the game Nelson run to the front office and demands to get the big bad Spaniard from the Grizzlies!!! AB won't be able to stop Gasol when they matchup!!!! |
