The Phoenix Suns and the Warriors met for the 3rd time this year. The two previous matches were decided by a total of 7 points.Tonight the Warriors were pearl-harbored by the Suns 128-105 as Shawn Marion scored 24 points had 17 rebounds with 3 steals and 3 assists.James Jones had his career high with 25 points.Troy Murphy did not score a field goal in the 9 minutes he played. The Warriors are now back at the .500 mark once again.Monta Ellis battled foul trouble all night ,scoring just 4 points in the 2nd half

The Warriors tried to run with Suns, but ran out of gas in the 3rd quarter.Andres Biedrins had 17 rebounds, but it was meaningless,as the Suns could not be stopped all night long. The Suns hit 12 trays on the night. The Suns had 61 bench points, including 26 from Leandro Barbosa.

Monta Ellis had 16 points with 8 minutes left in the 2nd quarter against the Suns, when he picked up his 3rd foul. Ellis was removed from the game.He came back at the 4:07 mark with the Suns up by 7.Nelson's strategy backfired,as Ellis picked up his 4th foul with 58 seconds left in the half.Azubuike played well in the ist half scoring 8 points, but the Warriors committed 15 turnovers( lead to 17 Suns points )to the Suns 8.Troy Murphy looked slower than ever on the court.Murphy had no positve effect on the court throughout the ist half.Barbosa had 18 points in the ist half for the Suns.Biedrins had 13 ist half rebounds, while Marion had 10 boards for the Suns.

In the 3rd quarter Monta Ellis committed his 5th foul with 8:21 left in the 3rd quarter.Ellis was removed from the game.In the meantime the Suns were now up 83-71 with Barbosa taking control of the game.Barbosa now had 23 points. The Suns hit 6 ot their ist 9 shots in the 3rd quarter.Steve Nash already had 9 assists.

With 5 minutes left in the 3rd quarter the Suns had 3 players with double doubles(Marion,Stoudamire and Nash). The Suns had 9 trays for the game with less than 3 minutes left in the 3rd quarter leading 87-72.Nash had more aaaists(10) than the entire Warriors team(7).

The Suns lead 93-76 after three quarters as Shawn Marion continued to do it all on the court.Marion had 16 points when the buzzer ended the 3rd quarter. His beautiful pass near the end of the 3rd quarter allowed James Jones to score an easy layup.James Jones had tied his season high with 10 points after 3 quarters.

Matt Barnes was ineffective for 3 quarters scoring just 2 points, including 2 bad fouls called against him in the ist quarter.

yeah, it was more of a recap than a perspective, didn't really give any opinion or anything that you wouldn't find on any number of recaps

If Troy Murphy can be moved before the Feb19th, deadline, you move his salary. This Golden State team has very good athletes that play good open court basketball.I do not see Murphy fitting in with this squad.Hopefully, some players with expiring contracts that end this year can be part of the deal. The Warriors are still 14-5 at home, but if this team was healthy I believe this team would have won at least 2-3 more home games.

Injuries have killed this team more than any other team.We are a pretty good team caught in a very competitive Western Conference. How bad can we be? We won at Dallas.I would like to see how good this team can be if we had all our players healthy.Look what happened to New Orleans since David West went down?Chris Paul has mssed games.Paja is out for the year.New Orleans went from a playoff team to a lottery team.Without question, this is the year of the injuries in the NBA.The last team standing will win :)

Which is a blessing in disguise for them. With the players they already have and a high pick for this years draft, they can be one of the top teams as soon as next season.

Don't like the Hornets, they need a real superstar inside player to become an elite team

Oden if they're lucky...

They already have Tyson Chandler (who's playing really well) and West, with Simmons and Hilton Armstrong (Simmons is a good player, or will be, but I don't like Armstrong much) from the bench. I think they're in a pretty good situation inside.
