MRI on Ezeli’s left knee inconclusive, Warriors say

PHILADELPHIA — Warriors backup center Festus Ezeli missed his second straight game Saturday because of a sore left knee.

The 6-foot-11, 265-pounder tweaked his knee during a 10-minute stretch Monday against San Antonio, and he had an MRI exam Tuesday.

The results of the exam were inconclusive, so the Warriors’ doctors are conferring. Ezeli is on the trip with the Warriors, and he’ll be listed as day-to-day for Sunday’s game at New York and Wednesday’s game at Washington.

Ezeli is averaging 7.5 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.2 blocked shots in 17.8 minutes this season. He missed the 2013-14 after surgery on his right knee.

If it's gonna be a battle of the PGs, I'll take the one that happens to be rhe best player in the league.

Curry could beat Kobe's 81 tonight, which would be just nice.

Another good road win and Curry again showing he is the MVP and probably the greatest shooter all time. The defense is an issue. Teams are playing their best against the team but the team is much better defensively than they've been lately and all season.

The biggest game coming up is at home against OKC and that's one really to tune for.
