The Spurs have lost their aura and we should no longer fear them. The Warriors have proven that they can beat them in San Antonio. If Curry's ankle is ok and he plays, I'm tipping a win. If he doesn't play, then I'd expect the Spurs to get us.

Don't look now, but if we win today we'll be first in the West.

Houston lost to the Lakers via hack-a-Dwight =D>

Another possible step forward for Ws tonight.
Duncan must be limited by Bogut. Lee will eat Diaw's fat old ass alive. Both Klay and Andre will hold their own. So it boils down to Curry (if he plays) vs. Parker, add Douglas, who hopefully can frustrate the frenchman abit. Cue in soaring Barnes and we have put ourselves in a position of taking this one and establishing ourselves for western conference reign.

This might sound stupid, but I think this was a good loss for us. I know everyone hates moral victories, and that's not what I'm really talking about. Douglas looked really good, the D was excellent, we pissed off the unflappable spurs, and we got a heat-check to bring us back down to earth. There is a lot this team can take away from a loss like this, particularly the fact that other guys need to step up and lead when we are with out one of our best players, especially Curry.

The reasons why I like this loss (as much as I can like a loss) are also potentially the same reasons why I hate it: excuses like good team, long road trip, close game that we could have won, without our best player, etc. It's far better than a demoralizing blowout, because the confidence gained by Douglas who we are going to need.

Guys like Klay obviously know they need to step up because he could have easily been the difference.

It's no good having the best shooters if you don't have someone to distribute the ball to the shooters. It's a problem when Curry is our only true point guard and he's out injured. It would've been a nice opportunity for Nedovic to get some minutes to see what he could do.

The Spurs own our souls. 30 straight times in the regular season. No matter how close we get, we can't seem to crack them. And they played bad tonight, Duncan only had 8 points, Parker missed 6 free throws, and Ginobili turned it over often. Plus Douglas played great. Spurs played bad, yet still won.
