Honestly this is just the former USC coach doing his student a favor as there's no contract but just a workout @ a mini camp. Still if u guys land Marshall to go alongside Tj houz & can get BMW in game shape from his current Jamarcus'esque weight of 271 pounds. U may have a dominating wide receiver corps of over 6 foot tall monsters that will give any opposing secondaries nightmares to go along with the refined skills of Carson

Also brought in another big pac-10 bust in former U-Dub standout Reggie Williams.

Yeah, nothing lost by bringing them in for a workout although I dont think either will get a camp invite.

Reggie Williams didn't live up to the hype, but he did a few things in the NFL. He has 18 TDs so far and even had 10 of those in just one season, but he never was the same since Garrard won the starting QB spot in Jacksonville.

He's likly not starting material, but I think you could do a lot worse than having him as a 4th option...

As for Mike Williams... good luck with that.

Well Brandon Marshall just signed his tender offer paving the way for a trade. I am hopefull a deal with Seattle gets done in the next day or so!

Trade for Marshall
1st round Pick #6 - Trent Williams OT
1st round Pick #14 - C.J. Spiller RB

and I will be a VERY happy man!

got caught in weather in Denver and had a hell of a time getting back home from my business trip. just got back ( a day late) and not been able to watch the draft at all but yes, I could not be more thrilled about the way the first round went.

To get the best tackle in the draft at 6 and then come back with one of the better safety prospects to come out in years was just awesome.

Add Golden Tate in the second as well...

I think Seattle has had a top 3 draft so far. Solid picks that will help the team right away.

wow, cant believe Tate was there at the end of the 2nd round. awesome. No 3rd round pick but two 4ths and two 5ths.

still some great talent on the board right now. Man, I bet the Niners would like to have that 4th round pick back.

this has to be the deepest draft in YEARS!

Man, what a draft for the Seahawks.

Got Lendale White for virtually nothing
and now they just traded a 5th rounder to the Jets for Leon Washington AND a 7th round pick.

AWESOME!!!

Wha... wha... wha... WHAT?????????????

Amazing. I knew the Jets were trying to find a take for Washington, after signing Tomlinson and now adding Joe McKnight. But that price is CRAZY. Leon Washington is a game changer, and he only costs a 5th rounder??? (less, actually, as a 7th rounder also makes the trip to Seattle).

Congrats, Bada. The Jets just were desperate to deal him, it seems... but you got a hell of a player for virtually nothing.

Yeah, if healthy Washington is a proven Spiller.

Anyway, I am thrilled that they were able to accomplish the following:

Traded:
4th round pick
5th round pick
6th round pick

Acquired:
4th round pick
6th round pick
7th round pick
RB Leon Washington
RB Lendale White
DT Kevin Vickerson

Simply outstanding!!!

Pete Carrol will be be a very happy man... Seattle is having an Amazing Draft. ALmost like in video games where you do these unrealistic trades by swapping picks.

Seattle is in an awful division. Dare I ask: Is it possible they compete for the division this year and make the playoffs?

Most definitely.

I love my 49ers, but my team has a lot of questions still. Granted, so does the Seahawks and Cardinals... but this will be a 3-team race. If Seattle stays healthy, they are a team to look out for... possibly the division winner. If San Francisco can block and Alex Smith succeeds, we'll take the division. If Matt Leinart can produce well, Arizona will take it.

Thing is... only one of us will make the playoffs. I don't even think whoever finishes second will make the wild card.
