That's a shocking pick, but not necessarily a bad one. I think he has more potential than any other CB in this draft, but losses focus pretty easily. Much more riskier than Jenkins. |

Well, if he keeps his nose clean and stays out of trouble, he could be a good player for you guys. Just in this day and age, taking guys with a questionable history is certainly a big gamble. _____________________________________________________

man, I am getting a bit excited about the possibility of Mendenhall. But is there any way he gets passed Dallas? He would compliment Barber PERFECTLY!

Agree... but it's a gamble that Gruden is always willing to take. We were trying to acquire Jared Allen til the very last minute, even paying him more than Minny is gonna pay him. That says a lot about the lack of "character scouting" the Bucs do. I do like the pick from a talent point of view, but there are lots of concerns about him. |

Sam Baker to Atlanta. Nice move, althought I thought it was going to be a QB after they traded up.
If not him, Felix Jones wouldn't be a bad consolation prize. |

I like Baker, and he is a very good player, but that was an absolute reach. I saw him falling until the second round. Wow....

I don't think he would have been available for the Falcons with their next pick, so I kinda understand the pick. And most o-linemen were already off the board, so I guess they panicked a bit. What's taking Dallas so long to pick Mendenhall? |

You might get Mendenhall if he keeps falling. And I don't think the Titans will draft him, so if Pittsburgh also ignores him, he could fall all the way to your pick. At this point, it's pretty ludicrous to ask you who you want...

TMC, it looked like Pittsburgh was going to take Mendenhall, so I dont think that he will fall any longer.
