Ok, I'm not much of a soccer fan, but I do know that Beckham is the ****. He has to be, he played only 10 minutes and yet everyone loved him, he didn't even do anything!!!
Drew Carrey, KG, Eva Longoria, Arnold, Katie Holmes, dayam.... (I missing a lot of other stars) all to see him play for a total of 10 minutes..
I may not know much about soccer before I the only time I watch is during world cup but MLS made a brilliant move!
Soccer....mainly MLS..... talk here!!!

no, not a fan at all. Fun game as a kid to play but dreadfully boring to watch as an adult.

Of those three, here is how it is ordered (for TV):
1 - Golf 2 - MLS 3 - Nascar Golf on TV is okay because there isn't much dead time. They show you every single one of Tiger's shots and when they aren't doing that they go over to another big hitter. MLS is the only sport on here that has actual goals though, and there can be some beautiful plays as well. There can also be 10 minutes where nothing of note happens. Nascar is the worst because it is hours of cars driving in circles. There is just nothing appealing about it. |

Golf is pretty bad, soccer is almost as bad, Nascar is watchable. |

I like soccer... the problem is that is played defensively more often than not, and when that happens, it's one of the most boring sports you can watch. It's like a game-to-game deal to me.
Which usually means I only watch finals and important games of european competition. Other than that, it's the perfect sport to watch only the highlights. |

The United States media has been trying to shove soccer down our throats for as long as I can remember. Just because its "the World's game" because its simplistic and uncomplicated doesn't make it a good game.
I, personally, can't stand soccer. Its where all the NBA flopping comes from.

 Dunleavy and Devin Harris come to mind. They picked up the wrong sport.

The league needs to be tougher on the flops. People who do that are little girls who cant play defence right. I dont want to see a guy who is 7 foot taking a charge on a guard who is coming in with the layup. It isnt how the game is meant to be played. |

I'd LOVE to see a 7 footer just clobber a guard when he tries to drive on him. That's his lane and he should protect it like it's his family. Don't hate yourself in the morning... sleep 'til noon.

When the Warriors were playing the Cavs, Monta came in on one of his layups against 7-3 Big Z. Big Z tried to draw the charge, and Monta just sort of went around him mid air for the layup. Big Z looked like he was going to cry.
