Now you can make all the spectulation of how the Mavs lost during the Finals. But the West is a tough road to go through during the playoffs while the East is nothing.

In the East, there are a variety of teams who have such an easy road such as the Cavs. The Cavs must go through the Wizards who are without both Agent Zero and Butler. Then face the winner of the Raptors/Nets series. The only matchup that may give them a run for their money would be against the Heat or Pistons. Such an easy road to the Eastern Conference Finals.

In the West, you go through the likes of the Spurs defense, the Suns fire power, the Great Wall of Yao, the Warriors small ball, Kobe and so much more. Series are expected to go to seven games in the West while in the East, they could go as little as five or even a sweep. Each team in the West will get a run for their money while the East will get an easy route.

We'll see this year whether or not a West team still has something left in the tank to win it for their respective conference. And to end with some type of humor, i'll also go back the Mavs losing in the Finals because Dirk...


CHOKED!!!

East is not as strong but the playoffs are not easy for any finalist. The Heat still had to go through the Pistons last playoffs and this time, the Bulls, Cavs and Raptors are better teams. The teams are conditioned well enough to not be significantly worn down going into the finals

Quite simply, the east sucks. There are several teams in the east that, with some small changes, could become really tough teams to beat... but, so far, all of the east teams have glaring flaws that make them pretty easy to beat for West teams.

That also means that I don't think the east winner will have an easy route. The first round means nothing... but a series between Chigago-Miami and Detroit (or even the Cavs) can go to 7 games pretty easily.
