Yeah. It's nasty and too bad for the kid.
I don't know if his career is over though, I mean, Willis McGahee did the same thing. But it will, at a minimum, take 2 years to fully recover. |

That's real unfortunate. The Clips are high on him. Now they have to put that on hold. This is worst than the T.J. Ford spill. Almost a career ender for Shaun.

Thats a nasty injury. The type where, even if you come back, its not certain you'll ever be the same again. Plus, it has the ability to make him injury prone for the rest of his career.
That's real rough, kid. Hope everything works out alright. ![]() GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS DIE HARD ![]() ![]() |

Terrible luck...
He'll be back (not this season, probably not next season, but he'll be back). The question is... can he be the same again?. He'll have a hard time getting back to where he was. |

The tough thing about Shaun Livingston is that he was STILL making his money on potential. It would be as if Ike Diogu suffered an injury like this; sure, there's intrigue, but he doesn't really have a track record (other than being a mediocre point guard who flashed brilliance every now and then). If he were the Triple-Double monster everyone though he could be, he'd have a lot easier of a time making it back into the league. ![]() GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS DIE HARD ![]() ![]() |

unfortunate, almost heart stopping from his point of view... he had so much potential and showed a lot of promise this year... i hope he's young enough to where his body will allow him to recover fully.

brutal brutal one - reminds me of Theisman's leg getting snapped by LT. He is very young, so maybe his body will be resilient enough, but yeah, that is at least a calendar year of rehab to even get on the court...

I've heard from 8 to 12 months... and I really doubt he'll be back with only 8 months.

I doubt he'll be back in 12 months...
