I'm not getting into this again. I've listed all the decent help he's gotten over the years in other threads. AI is a shoot-first PG who only passes when he's got a got WIDE OPEN (in hopes of conning a dime out of it).

The likes of Mutombo, Skinner, Dalembert, Ollie, McKie, Snow and Korver are offensive machines............. strange Iverson didn't lead the nba in assists with over 10 a game for all those years

Well that is right but I think the focus was on the 76er teams from a few years agao (though I said Korver). Those teams, like the current ones, had noone else besides Iverson that could even affect a game well ![]() ![]() migya make the ring fall on ya |

Iguodala is the best help he had in Philly. And that doesn't say much, as Iggy is just a third year player right now...
Just look at last night's game. AI won with this supporting cast: Dermarr Johnson Jamal Sampson Yakhouba Diawara Najera ( Linas Kleiza Reggie Evans Earl Boykins Only Evans and Boykins belong in the NBA... and Evans is just an specialist. And Denver still won the game. I only have admiration for what AI has done in the league. |

Alot of people just take what Iverson has done for granted! He has been in misery his whole career and maybe now things will get better but he has to make sure he doesn't become a bad attitude and distraction. He has the chance he wanted with a very good team and he has to get what he can now

Yep. This season and the next one will give him a chance to show what he can do with a good supporting cast (a great supporting cast, in fact). No more excuses if he can't win big in Denver. |
