Its official, Bochy is our guy. Not many people like him, and I didnt like him when I first heard his name, but hes got experience. He can also bring big free agents (SORIANO, ZITO, LEE) over to SF.

GO GIANTS

As an A's fan, I'd be fine with Zito going to the Giants.

As long as it's not the Yankees. (cringes)

I love this hire, and I’ve been hoping all along that we pick Boch. He’s a great guy and damn good manager w/ solid credentials. I think he'll do great with the Giants.

Especially with the chance of Schmidt leaving.

im ok with boch, we'll see what he can do with a decent payroll and good young pitching.

Bonds will be filing for FA as soon as the World Series ends. Whatever...

I am so ****ing bummed out about Bonds. I was one of those guys who seriously loved the guy. He's the last remaining Bay Area sports figure from my childhood (not counting Nelly and Mully... I'm talking strictly about players).

This sucks

#32 it is still very possible that he can end up back with the giants. ive heard that most players when eligible, declare for free agency. bonds will test the market, if hes going to get the same amount of money from the giants then from another team, then i think he will come back.
