moises was good when healthy, which is only half good, and felipe did some wierd things managing, but all in all i think it was a decent run for the alou's, but its time to move on.
barry will only be back in sf's terms, and there are 11 potential free agents. management has stated that their goal is to get younger and healthier.
as far as a manager my vote goes to joe g #1, from the fish, bud black from the angels, bob brenly, or raggs.
piece out felipe, moises alou!/manager?

"Losing is inevitably close to winning," Guber said. "They're inches apart. Drama. If you have drama, you've got a ticket to sell." "They're not real fans," Lacob said. "They don't have season tickets."

Joe G, for sure... but you know it probably won't happen.

Don't count out any of the other managers on the Giants roster like Dave Ragetti or ect.

ron wotus will probably be the managers.
unfortunately bonds will be coming back and sabean & co. know that ron wotus is good at caitering to barry's needs. |

There's also reports of Baker returning but the Giants are likely to turn to 4 other candidates. Not sure who they were, it was in the CCT.

Dusty Baker coming back to the Giants is about as likely as Art Shell returning to the Raiders or Don Nelson to the Warriors... oops.

they already said they wont consider baker.

That's what Sabes said, I know.
But Don Nelson claimed he'd never return to the Warriors organization so long as Cohan was the owner... and look at him. Not saying it's likely, but it's still possible. ![]() GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS DIE HARD ![]() ![]() |

i'd like to see them get a manager before they go about resigning their worthless free agent crop.

I'd like to see them go after one, big free agent (rather than a slew of useless role players). For once (besides Barry Bonds).

i'd rather then put more of their money into the farm system, sign a couple real good players rather than a big fish, and in a few years be able to mix and match to have a real talented team. we need a manager though, i hope we get sweet lou!

personally i think its going to be ron wotus.
but i'd give omar a shot as well absolutely. how unique would that be. "Losing is inevitably close to winning," Guber said. "They're inches apart. Drama. If you have drama, you've got a ticket to sell." "They're not real fans," Lacob said. "They don't have season tickets."

Too unique. It'll never happen. But it's a nice thought.
