uh...if he's like a charles barkley, then i'd take him any day of the week.
and drfrank, where'd/when you see him in summer league? cuz he got playing approval in the beginning of the season in cal.
but my most vivid memory of powe was when he was in the mcdonalds game with lebron, and powe was ****ing kids up.
"I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed."
Let's hope Monty doesn't take this the wrong way and think he is actually succeeding right now!

I like Powe, I think he is a very good college player and was dominant at Oakland Tech. With all that said I think he will just be an average NBA player who will go late first/early second. Yes he blew up in the McDonald's game and yes he was a monster at Cal but a lot of other players have done the same and few of them are big time players in the Association. I hope he succeeds but I seriously doubt he will be a major impact and isn't worth the W's taking him at a logjammed position.
I bet Houston will take him at #32 to be a backup to Swift if Swift gets injured.
