i went to a couple of summer league games and watched powe play, mostly against scrubs. but i agree that warriors dont need him. he is JUST like ike. hes undersized and even if we get him, he'll still be misused because this is a "shooting" team. they dont believe in points in the paint.

uh...if he's like a charles barkley, then i'd take him any day of the week. and drfrank, where'd/when you see him in summer league? cuz he got playing approval in the beginning of the season in cal. but my most vivid memory of powe was when he was in the mcdonalds game with lebron, and powe was ****ing kids up. New. Stuff.

went to cal today and saw the game. he'd demolish ike with ease. the kid has the strongest hands ever. 30 pts 11rebounds.
New. Stuff.

powe will a beast in the nba. and you could easily get him late in the 1st or early 2nd.

"I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed."
Let's hope Monty doesn't take this the wrong way and think he is actually succeeding right now! ![]() ![]() migya make the ring fall on ya |

"We've been missing the playoffs for 12 straight years. That shows we're succeeding and that's why we're raising the tickets"
Doesn't sound too convincing. Maybe it doesn't apply to everyone. |

I like Powe, I think he is a very good college player and was dominant at Oakland Tech. With all that said I think he will just be an average NBA player who will go late first/early second. Yes he blew up in the McDonald's game and yes he was a monster at Cal but a lot of other players have done the same and few of them are big time players in the Association. I hope he succeeds but I seriously doubt he will be a major impact and isn't worth the W's taking him at a logjammed position.
I bet Houston will take him at #32 to be a backup to Swift if Swift gets injured. |

he'll be a beast and anyone who needs a PF, he'll be perfect.
