He's not expected back until the middle of next year at the earliest. This just breaks my heart, Powe was the reason I pulled for the Celtics last year. He's from my town and he's one hell of a man. This just sucks, especially since he's playing for a new free agent contract. I just hope he can come back from this. If anyones strong enough to do it it's him though.
Leon Powe to undergo second recontructive knee surgery

Yeah, heard about that. It'll be AT LEAST 9 months of rehab after surgery. That's huge for the Celts right now, as they have no one in the post already. With KG out, that ensured them not repeating. But without Powe, that hurts them even more.
I feel bad for the guy. I hope he recovers back to full strength.

That kid is having terrible luck with injuries through his career. He's been really productive when healthy, so it's a pity he can't stay healthy.
On talent, he should be a starter in this league. But sometimes talent just ain't enough. Luck also counts.
Here's hoping he comes back strong and never has to go through something like this again.

I can't stand the Celtics and their fans. zOMG injuries. Yeah, try having a 7 man rotation with young players and all your starters out.

Yeah, same as when he was at Cal. Just one of those guys that are solid when given time, but can't stay healthy no matter what he does.
