one of these weird trades.
Celts do it to get the roster spot to persue 2 for 1 trades or to persue any guys that get cut as the result of these financial trades. The Kings essentially get cash as they will immediately cut Cassell and the 2nd rounder they traded is heavily protected. Basically they are trading an almost worthless 2nd round pick for some cash. _____________________________________________________

That's possible, but not likely. I mean, they won't be able to match salaries in any possible trade, and it doesn't look like the Knicks are going to cut Marbury at this point. |

Could be. The way I see it, Tom Thibodeau will have a head coaching job next season, leaving the assistant head coach position open. Whether Doc hires Sammy as a replacement or not is beyond me, but either way... that opens up a spot for him since Sammy WANTS to enter coaching once he's retired. Don't hate yourself in the morning... sleep 'til noon.
