Jose Calderon has made 83 straight freethrows and is now in second place, having just passed Mahmoud Abdul Rauf. He is set to pass Micheal Williams, former PG of the TWolves a decade ago, who made 97 straight. Calderon has not missed a freethrow this season and that is amazing. Be something if he didn't miss a freethrow for the whole season

Yep, although every game he plays on the road, it gets harder, as the fans are constantly trying to make him lose his focus.
Still, I'm definitely rooting for him. It'd be a great achievement if he makes it (it already is, but still it's nothing compared to the real record). |

So exactly how much do you like Pau Gasol, then? Don't hate yourself in the morning... sleep 'til noon.

It's not a gay thing, you know. |

Yeah, because we all know Bigs' favorite player is Rudy Gay. Don't hate yourself in the morning... sleep 'til noon.

I always thought BIGS Favorite Banger was John Amechi ... you know how his all patriotic to that Union Jack |
|
I actually used to play with John Amaechi's (atleast spell it right Pawno Truelly one of the nicest guys Ive ever met. |

Didn't catch this sooner but Calderon missed a free throw in Friday's loss to the Bucks, ending his streak of consecutive made free throws at 87, just 10 shy of Michael Williams' NBA record.
Pitty, would have been nice to see a record broken ![]() ![]() migya make the ring fall on ya |

Yeah, but everybody was rooting against him beating that record (except Raptors fans, that is). He finally started to feel the pressure of opposing fans, players, the media... |
|
I was going for him to break that record, looks like he choked. His FT% might end up being the best for one season in nba history ![]() ![]() migya make the ring fall on ya |

It's a good job on the ft's, but what's the deal with his team, shouldn't he and Bosh be able to carry the team.
|
That team is really struggling and it is a surprise. Jermaine is not a superstar anymore but they needed another good big and he is one. Just shows how important Calderon is, yea they haven't won a heap with him but they were awful without him and now he is their only good PG ![]() ![]() migya make the ring fall on ya |

Puzzling to me how bad they are doing, Jermaine must have falling off, (cant say much since i did not see them play), bad pick up on there part. Maybe he needs a bigger role on the team scoring wise, i think he is been under used on the offensive end, he needs to be more selfish on the scoring department. |
